I’ve gone through several cases from other brands that never lasted long. This one is much more sturdy, so it seems like I’ll have it forever. The only negatives are that the key shaft would not fit into the slot for it. I had to shape it out by removing some of the plastic with a blade. It wasn’t too challenging though. I also tried the bottle opener on it last night and it wasn’t very useful. But everything else about it is great. It looks good, the electronics are cradled in snug and secure, and it feels very sturdy.

The installation process was super quick and simple with all of the hardware required being included. The fit is very snug and secure. The replacement FOB feels very sturdy and weighty in the hand. Although it’s a fair bit larger than the OEM FOB.

I have 2008 Honda and the keys they provide breaks very easily. Before this key cover I already bought 3 in the past. Pro: > Very Sturdy. > Solid Built. > Key's chip fits very snug. Con: > Bulky for pocket. > wider Body to hold the key. > the key ring hold should be wider. over all I highly recommend for those who have same issues must get this to resolve the issue.

I was very pleasantly surprised upon receiving my Dubbs key shell replacement! Finally, something of substantially higher quality than those cheap foreign-made plastic key shells that crack within a year or two. This is a much thicker and more durable plastic, and more importantly, the case is closed with real steel Allen-head cap screws (Allen wrench provided), which screw into real metal nuts anchored in the plastic case. Others here have spoken of plastic shims used to better stabilize the metal key to the plastic case. I received no such shims, and have not needed them. My metal key fits perfectly into the plastic casing, and when the bolts are tightened fully, it is rock solid. This was one of the biggest problems with the cheap foreign plastic shells; in addition to the cheap screw which would pierce the plastic case, ultimately causing it to crack, the metal key was forever "flapping in the breeze" unsteadily, no matter how much I tightened the screw. Thus far, this case seems very durable, and stabilizes the metal key in rock solid fashion. Highly recommended!

I've been through 4 honda key fob shells, the kind that are held together with a small screw. They don't last. Thankfully I came across this new style of key fob that has 4 allen head bolts, one at each corner, to tighten the 2 piece shell together. Night and day difference in quality and looks. Once put together, there is no looseness between the key and fob. It's very easy to transfer your old key and electronics to this new 1. You can tell a difference just in the weight when put back together. It just feels much stronger. If you're needing just the fob shell, this is the 1 you've been looking for. I'm so happy to have finally found a key fob that will last.
