My wife is still using her original Silhouette version 1 Cameo machine, so she's been going through mats for a long time. Her major complaint with new mats is that they are too sticky. Even the "light grip" mats often curl the paper and leave residue. These mats avoid that problem. The Light Grip mat held the cardstock very well and the paper peeled off easily without curling. This could, of course, mean that the mats will lose their adhesion more quickly, but that has yet to be seen. The price of $13 for six is far below what you pay for the brand name versions.

I've been "silhouette-ing" for over a decade and have been thru a lion's share of cutting mats. Most third party mats are much cheaper than the OEM mats, and with that cost savings there is usually a difference in quality as well. What really makes a set worth it or not is how MUCH of a difference in quality. These are on the better side of the third party mats I've tried. Sticky isn't quite as durable as Silhouette brand, but its not icky and gummy like some of the cheap third party. The size and markings are spot on and you're able to use these loaded from either end, unlike some third party. The variety offered with 3 levels of stickiness is nice. The clear protective sheet is easy to remove and replace to protect the mat, and these come with a hole for hanging, which is my preferred method of storage.

They function well enough, but they are slightly smaller in all dimensions than the brand name Cricut mats. They also leave a slightly sticky residue on the vinyl when you pull it off. It comes off pretty easily, but it's gross to feel.

Until now, I had only used the Silhouette brand cutting mats. They weren't even the strong-hold mats, just the regular, and yet they have a really strong hold. I really like that these contain a variety of levels of hold since some media needs a strong hold and others are better with the light hold. I have used the light hold mat the most but I am satisfied with the others, as well

These are great mats. They're a little less flexible than the other brand I have, but they also maintain their adhesion for quite a bit longer than the same brand. That purple one has very strong adhesion. It does not play. I will definitely look for these again when it to repurchase.

The matt moves so when it is cutting damage my product. Also the stick that came with it doesn't last long only one time.
