I am wearing these boots for multi-purpose associated with yard work, muck, and lake use. I have waded mid-calf into the water, and used for kayaking, staying both comfortable and dry. Very pleased with the use options and wearability of these boots. Plenty of room to tuck in fleece-lined pants.

I’ve owned and cared for horses for nearly 50 years in the damp, muddy Pacific Northwest. Basic utilitarian rubber boots are such a necessity around here that some farm stores sell them out of bulk bins. I’ve been buying those inexpensive “bin boots” in a men’s size 8 for decades. These Amazon boots are very similar to the bulk farm store boots, both in foot/shaft sizing and quality. They come up to just below my knee and have just enough room to snugly tuck in my pants legs. These boots are about $10 more expensive than the bin boots, however; I wouldn’t have bought them if the local farm stores hadn’t been sold out of my size. Be aware that these boots aren’t made for warmth, so I don’t recommend them if that’s what you’re looking for. I, on the other hand, wear my boots year-round and prefer them to not keep my feet warm. (I rely on heavy socks during cold winter months.) Different strokes. One thing I dislike about these boots is that they don’t have a mesh liner embedded in the PVC. Boots that have the embedded mesh seem to last much longer, so I’m suspicious of the durability of these ones. I’ll update this review when I know more. ... show more

As per the item heading and description, I ordered the Servus Comfort Technology 14" PVC Soft Toe Men's Work Boot, Black (18822) in size 8. My photos show what I received, definitely NOT the Servus brand boots. These were made in China (molded into the sole), not the USA. I admit they are thick PVC and look to be durable and waterproof, but I specifically wanted the Servus boots. There is a mild chemical or rubber-like odor to these, but if it does not fade away, I will keep them in the garage between uses. These do not have any fabric-type lining and do not have removable inner soles as advertised, but are easy for me to don and doff as they are at least one, maybe two, sizes oversized. I wear a size 8 1/2 shoe and ordered the size 8 boot. My feet slid around forwards and backwards inside and the boots were so loose, each step felt like the boot would fall off if I wasn't careful. In order to make these fit reasonably well, I added TWO layers of inner sole pads. That being done, they are now quite comfortable and do not feel like they will fall off. When I went back to the advertisement photos, these are the ones in the photo for size 8, but are not the Servus boots advertised. For some sizes, the photos appear to be Servus brand with the scalloped back of the boot, others sizes show these which have a flat-cut top. For the price ($21.59, including tax) and my intermittent short term usage needs (e.g. hosing down equipment, cleaning floors, gardening), I will keep them, but I am disappointed I did not receive what I ordered and what was advertised. I gave these an overall 3 stars as I think they will adequately serve my needs. ... show more

...but with these Boots you could! I purchased these for the snow and rain.I still shovel snow and,at times,go out in the rain.I should have bought these in the beginning of winter but you know how things go,priorities and everything.Well, I checked all the makers of "Galloshes" on Amazon and was surprised at some of the prices,ranging from 2 to 3 digits.I live in Conn. not Beverly Hills!I looked at all the different styles and the CLC brand (Custom Leather Crafts) was and I believe is Thee Best and the price is also Thee Best.The Boots arrived a few hours ago and I was very surprised at the construction as them bein VERY WELL made and they are not flimsy as some are!I put on a pair of heavy socks and went for a walk.I went on the RailRoad tracks where there are different textures,such as wood,gravel and metal.The walk went well and there was no problem.(Once again,the Rubber is a heavier grade then most).When YOU purchase these just make sure YOU click in your correct size,since these are OVER-THE-SOCK you do not have to allow for a shoe or boot to fit in.The only thing that I did no like was that they are made in China BUT that exlains the Incedible Price.Also, they are made in Injection-Mold Machines which do 100% of the work. Workers only put tags on them and ship them to the warehouses.They have 3 similar machines from the place where I retired from.In MY opinion,these Boots are Very Well made should cost more and are a Definitely a 5-Star product.If thy were not I would not plan on buying another pair for My Son!PLEASE NOTE: This is my review and it is how I feel about these Boots.If an item is 4.5 Stars,I give it 5 Stars.Just because I posted a 5-Star Review means ONLY My Feeling,if You purchase these and do not agree with My Review,it will not bother Me one bit! ... show more

I love these for gardening. I've been moving plants in mucky weather and they've been great--no loose soil has fallen into my boots--even when I shake roots out and it gets all over me. The reinforced toe protected my foot when a heavy pot fell on it. My favorite feature is the fact that the soles and heel are stable on uneven ground. ... show more
