  • Less is More - Easy to add if not enough.
Size: 1 Pack
I am new to dentures. Extractions less than 3 months ago. I did a soft reline a couple weeks ago, but since my gums are changing shape as they continue to heal, the reline got a little loose pretty quickly. That's where Cushion Grip shines! Cushion Grip is not an adhesive like cream or powder pastes/glues. You will have to wait quite a while after applying it before eating again. It is more like a soft reline, though not as durable. For me it is a soft reline extender. Easier to use than soft reline, no mixing, no hurry, and helps me get a good fit until the next soft reline. I asked via chat on their website about putting on top of soft reline, and they thought I needed to remove the soft reline first. I decided to try it anyway, and I am finding that it may not adhere as well to the soft reline but works. Read and follow the instructions carefully. Look for videos on you tube. I put a pyrex glass measuring cup of water in the microwave for a minute to heat the water. Then the tube goes in the hot (not boiling) water cap down for at least 5 minutes. You need to soften the contents at the cap end of the tube. Use the included key tool to wind the sealed end of the tube after squeezing out the first round ball, squeezing from the bottom of the tube, to allow the key to go on the tube. Then the round ball goes into my palm, and rub it back and forth into a thin rope. The rope goes into the trough of lower or upper and mash it flat into the trough and smooth it toward the open ends of the denture trough. The first application I also added to the palate arch of the upper, but found it was not needed in my case for good suction. Let it rest for at least 5 minutes before inserting dentures and bite down. I feel a very slight burning sensation, but it goes away in a short while. I recommend not eating or drinking for as long as possible. 2 hours minimum, but 6 hours is best to get a decent cure, so don't put in new when you are hungry. Some people prefer to do this at night, leave the denture in place overnight and it will be ready to go in the morning. The Cushion grip will have redistributed and that is why "Less is More". If you did not get enough it is easy to rinse and dry and add more (another thin rope) right on top. After curing it can be trimmed, but is easier if you don't have to. Cushion Grip will harden in air over time, but will remain pliable if in water or denture cleaning solution. Like anything with dentures, it takes practice to learn how these materials can work for you; or not.... I find it does act as a cushion and is softer on my gums than even the soft reline. When I put the dentures in first thing in the morning, I can feel the Cushion Grip softening as it warms, just from wearing and after a few minutes, or as many as 10-15 minutes, the softening allows it to fit better as the suction improves. Can also be put in hot water to soften again if needed. I really like the thermoplastic material and I think each tube will provide many applications as I am using very little each time. I have already ordered more and it is just another "tool in the toolbox" for more comfortable wear. I plan to delay permanent dentures for about a year to allow my gums to be more fully ready for the permanent dentures as I would like to need fewer relines once I have them. Cushion Grip will give me comfort until my gums stop or at least slow changing shape. No hurry now for the permanent dentures even though I have already purchased them. I can wait, thanks to soft reline (I use Reline-It, as the price is very good) and Cushion Grip. I think I will get much more than 4 days from most applications. I am able to do without adhesive on the upper using Cushion Grip for a better fit. ... show more

  • The best product for denture wearers ever
Size: 6 Pack
This is the best stuff ever invented! I have had dentures for 30+ years, and for all of that time, I maybe actually wore them for a few hours a week, if that. If I went out somewhere, I'd wear them. (I work from home so, there's that). I hate denture glues, and they don't work for me anyway, any type of pressure and the teeth pop out of place. I attribute it to the fact that when I got my dentures I still had my teeth, they took the mold so when I had my remaining teeth extracted I could have dentures right away. They NEVER fit right, but I lost insurance shortly after and could never afford to get new ones, I just figured that was what it was going to be anyway. In comes Cushion Grip. OMG what an amazing product. I followed the directions and watched the videos here on the product page. The first application lasted 7 days! And for all 7 days I could do anything at all, even eat nuts which I did joyfully a lot since I haven't been able to for years. NO ADDITIONAL ADHESIVES OR GLUES NEEDED AT ALL FOR the entire week! On the initial setting, there was a light, what they call tingling sensation, more like a very mild 'burning' sensation but not uncomfortable. Also a very very mild aftertaste, but nothing horrible. I may have been able to get another day or two out of that initial application, but I decided to see if it was easy enough to get off the plates when removing it. I ran hot tap water over the upper and lower plates and the 'rubbery' coating peeled right off. No problem at all! I just put in the second application and it was even easier than the first time, and didn't even have any 'burning' or aftertaste. I had hot peppers on eggs for breakfast though, i think if there had been a burning sensation i probably wouldn't have felt it, lol. 8 days ago I first purchased the first tube of this, and I IMMEDIATELY came back and purchased the pack of 6. I NEVER want to be without it. ... show more

  • I was hopeful
Size: 1 Pack
I bought this in hopes that it really would make a difference. It seemed really positive with the reviews and videos. But there are no miracles when it comes to finding something that’ll help dentures feel and fit better. Something that’ll make it easier to eat, especially if you go out in public. First, I have a high arch therefore I have no suction with my upper dentures. I have to use adhesives or they fall out, a thin layer is all I need though and it lasts all day. No one has suction with their bottom ones, it’s impossible because we use the bottom jaw muscle so much. Even with adhesive it’ll breakdown throughout the day because of the excess saliva that we produce now. Very important downfalls to remember once you become cursed with false teeth! Okay onward to the review! I followed the instructions and there is a distinct chemical smell and burning sensation once you put the denture in your mouth with the product on it, it’s not a “tingling” it BURNS and it brought tears to my eyes. My mouth is completely healed too, it took about 5 minutes before it slowly faded to tolerable. After 2 hours you can sip liquids but not hot. You can also remove the dentures at this point to trim any excess adhesive that is hanging out/over. Immediately put them back in your mouth for the remaining time, remember it says approximately 4-6 hours to cure. It’s recommended you sleep with them in to allow them to cure. You can always add more product if needed and that’s where it gets tricky. Time and patience is a virtue here! You also have to wait 24 hours before you can add adhesive or clean them. I’m glad I have another pair to wear because like I said previously I need adhesive and I can tell already these are not going to stay in place once I speak. I do not feel a suction or a tighter fit. My bottom denture is still loose even with two layers of product. It actually feels like I’m developing a sore on my right side. I don’t know if the chemicals created a burn or if there is a sore from the product rubbing. It is extremely difficult getting this material off of your dentures, I struggled for about an hour to get the layer off, I tried ice water and boiling water too. Don’t make plans on going anywhere if you need to change this liner out because it takes time and it’s frustrating! The brand ambassadors that praise this product must get paid well and have great fitting dentures to begin with because I just don’t see this product doing what they claim. My top dentures still fell right out and the bottom weren’t any tighter even with two layers of cushion grip. Wearing a regular adhesive works better in my opinion! I’m glad I can return this product and get my money back. ... show more

  • Best Denture Adhesive in the World!
Size: 2 Pack
Super strong dental adhesive. You won’t have to worry about loose dentures with this adhesive! I apply this in very small amounts and get perfect fitting teeth. Everybody asks how I can eat apples, nuts, granola, steak, and more with dentures. I simply show them this adhesive and tell them I can apply this to my denture, let it sit for a couple of minutes, then pop them in. I know my teeth are good to go for at least 3 to 4 days before I need to change them again. I can even brush them for refreshing daily or after meals, just like regular teeth! Love that I can smile with confidence once more! I rate this with five stars and a big thumbs up! ... show more

  • Effective Adhesive, Tricky Application
Size: 1 Pack
This denture adhesive really does create a secure, comfortable fit that lasts all day, but getting it applied correctly is harder than I expected. The thermoplastic formula is sticky and sets quickly, so you have to work fast. It took me several tries to get the right amount and placement. If you’re willing to practice, it can work well, but it’s not very beginner‑friendly. ... show more

  • Makes wearing dentures bearable!
Size: 1 Pack
My husband and I have been using Cushion Grip for several years now and it's made wearing dentures bearable. It's a nightmare to wear them without it so we always have it stocked. It's so much softer than the hard palate of dentures, and creates a solid seal that makes it easy to eat any food, even steak! The suction does wear down after a few days so I do like to apply a thin layer of powder adhesive daily for added security so my dentures don't budge. We also like that it's super easy to apply once you get the hang of it, and it doesn't leave a long lasting taste like other liners we've tried. It lasts much longer than seven days when applied correctly. We only replace the liner about every month or so when it starts wearing down. It did take a couple of times before we learned to apply Cushion Grip correctly, but after watching a video online detailing the process it was a breeze. It is really easy to apply too much and waste some of the product, however, with only a thin layer needed to adequately line each denture, a single tube lasts both of us approximately two - three months. It is important to mention however, the longer the liner is used, the more difficult it is to remove. It's saved me in more ways than one - I dropped my top denture while cleaning it a couple years ago, cracking and breaking it in half. Without having money to replace it, I super glued the denture and roll a thin layer of Cushion Grip over the top, covering the very noticeable crack in the front gum line between my two front teeth. It's not a perfect color match, but close enough that people are unable to notice, even when I smile. 😁 I honestly don't know what I would do without this product and can't recommend it enough. It's affordable, lasts a long time and makes wearing dentures super comfortable. This is one of those products that I truly can't live without or recommend enough to denture wearers. • Works for what I need to for.
Size: 1 Pack
First off, I am in temporary dentures with a soft reline and per my dentist, this is safe to use. Easy to work with, if you follow instructions & use the key!! It does take a little while to set & has a mouthwash burning sensation for a little bit. I am using this product to help seal my lower denture in place and to assist with adhesive longevity. Trick: push the material to the edges so some material drapes over, this is what helps with suction/ seal. Mine do not stay well enough to eat harder foods without adhesive, but do have enough suction to talk and eat easier foods. I will still use adhesive because of the food options I can eat with them being “cemented” in place, plus biting into foods is much easier knowing they won’t fall out. It took about six hours to cure. When the material is cured, it will be a peach color. Comes off the acrylic part of the denture, with no problems. Can be trimmed with scissors if needed. Worth the money spent! ... show more
