Ok, I’m not one to do a review especially a fast review however this product is getting a review after one use. I had all my lowers removed 4 weeks ago with an immediate denture put in. It’s hard, it’s loose and no matter what I used it would be loose in an hour. And anytime I took one bite of anything even soft it popped up and food went under my denture ruining meal time. So eating was a chore with much creativity involved. So I bought this yesterday, but before using I went on YouTube and watched videos of people who showed how they installed this stuff and then I went for it. Slight tingling like a cinnamon tingle which it says is normal from manufacturer and online reviews. Pushed them on hard and held it for 5 minutes before letting up. No drink or eat for 5 hours. At that point they were still holding strong so I made a quick dinner and ate crunchy chicken tenders which prior was never gonna happen. Meal was completed and no food got behind the denture at all. I am learning to chew on both sides and this stuff held tight with suction alone! I then popped it out but was nervous too as the fit was amazing and I hand no pressure points at all. Pressure was distributed evenly across my gum line, no pain, no rubbing! After removing it popped right in and stayed in. Removed before bed, woke up and it went right in. Amazing product at least for me. To be able to eat one meal was worth it. No falling out when I speak etc. no glue washing out when I drank liquids, no aftertaste and I can drink a cup of freaking coffee!!! Life changer, for $13 it is worth trying, just watch some videos etc as they were helpful for sure. After using for two days I had corn on the cob, and another, no problem at all. Less is More - Easy to add if not enough.

I am new to dentures. Extractions less than 3 months ago. I did a soft reline a couple weeks ago, but since my gums are changing shape as they continue to heal, the reline got a little loose pretty quickly. That's where Cushion Grip shines! Cushion Grip is not an adhesive like cream or powder pastes/glues. You will have to wait quite a while after applying it before eating again. It is more like a soft reline, though not as durable. For me it is a soft reline extender. Easier to use than soft reline, no mixing, no hurry, and helps me get a good fit until the next soft reline. I asked via chat on their website about putting on top of soft reline, and they thought I needed to remove the soft reline first. I decided to try it anyway, and I am finding that it may not adhere as well to the soft reline but works. Read and follow the instructions carefully. Look for videos on you tube. I put a pyrex glass measuring cup of water in the microwave for a minute to heat the water. Then the tube goes in the hot (not boiling) water cap down for at least 5 minutes. You need to soften the contents at the cap end of the tube. Use the included key tool to wind the sealed end of the tube after squeezing out the first round ball, squeezing from the bottom of the tube, to allow the key to go on the tube. Then the round ball goes into my palm, and rub it back and forth into a thin rope. The rope goes into the trough of lower or upper and mash it flat into the trough and smooth it toward the open ends of the denture trough. The first application I also added to the palate arch of the upper, but found it was not needed in my case for good suction. Let it rest for at least 5 minutes before inserting dentures and bite down. I feel a very slight burning sensation, but it goes away in a short while. I recommend not eating or drinking for as long as possible. 2 hours minimum, but 6 hours is best to get a decent cure, so don't put in new when you are hungry. Some people prefer to do this at night, leave the denture in place overnight and it will be ready to go in the morning. The Cushion grip will have redistributed and that is why "Less is More". If you did not get enough it is easy to rinse and dry and add more (another thin rope) right on top. After curing it can be trimmed, but is easier if you don't have to. Cushion Grip will harden in air over time, but will remain pliable if in water or denture cleaning solution. Like anything with dentures, it takes practice to learn how these materials can work for you; or not.... I find it does act as a cushion and is softer on my gums than even the soft reline. When I put the dentures in first thing in the morning, I can feel the Cushion Grip softening as it warms, just from wearing and after a few minutes, or as many as 10-15 minutes, the softening allows it to fit better as the suction improves. Can also be put in hot water to soften again if needed. I really like the thermoplastic material and I think each tube will provide many applications as I am using very little each time. I have already ordered more and it is just another "tool in the toolbox" for more comfortable wear. I plan to delay permanent dentures for about a year to allow my gums to be more fully ready for the permanent dentures as I would like to need fewer relines once I have them. Cushion Grip will give me comfort until my gums stop or at least slow changing shape. No hurry now for the permanent dentures even though I have already purchased them. I can wait, thanks to soft reline (I use Reline-It, as the price is very good) and Cushion Grip. I think I will get much more than 4 days from most applications. I am able to do without adhesive on the upper using Cushion Grip for a better fit. ... show more

UPDATE: July 7, 2026/ Here I am again. I decided to bite the bullet and try Cushion Grip again. The dentures, I'm using now, are my seven year old ones. I've learned more about how to use it than before by going to their web site. An actual person chatted with me. Ok. Here goes. First off, I learned not to use any adhesive for 24 hours for it to cure the best. Her suggestion is to put Cushion Grip in my dentures before going to bed and to sleep with them in. I didn't know this so used adhesive within three hours, on my lower denture. I haven't needed any for my upper. I could eat pretty much anything. But, within two days, it just came out of my lower denture when I took it out before going to bed. It's also a good idea not to trim Cushion Grip off right away unless it is bothering you from over flaps or over your teeth. I trimmed way too much off within a short time. That really is not necessary. They tell you not to put it in the middle of the upper denture. But, in my case, I have Tuberosities. A tuberosity is a rounded bony protrusion behind your last molar in the upper jaw. It is covered by my gum. So, by applying it to the top of my denture has kept it in without any adhesive. This is great as it is quite loose without it. Also, don't soak them in water for 24 hours. Just clean your dentures with Dawn dish soap. Rinse them well and insert. Hopefully, this will help you who have had problems with using Cushion Grip properly. I have ended up with sores and pain from using this last tube. I don't know what the difference is, but I'm tired of the pain. The first time, I used it, it caused pain on my gum that, ertswhile, caused jaw pain, wherein, I could barely open it. Second time, while eating, a piece of food got under my lower denture and caused a hole in my gum. It took two days for it to, partially, heal. It also does not mold as well causing my denture to fall out, even while not eating. I'm at a loss as what to do now. This review was from the previous tube, not the one I have now. Went from 2 * to 5 *. UPDATE: I watched a youtube video, from Real Life with Michelle and Rob, to learn how to apply Cushion Grip properly. I wasn't using enough for my old, loose lower denture nor did I apply it to go over the flanges. Cushion Grip designers also changed how to apply it, but they don't tell you the way to put it in so it becomes cushiony, like Michelle does. For another thing I would change. To not put the tube in from the cap, but the end. I did exactly how Michelle shows her viewers and got my lower denture to fit really well. I still had to put a tiny amount of adhesive in, but this is a lot better than having to put it in three or four times a day with goop seeping out in my mouth. At this moment, right after I got up, I didn't put any in and my denture is staying well. I got to eat what I wanted, for the first time in a very long time without my denture flipping out and no goop seeping out. And yes, I now have the cushion so I'm not stressing or anxious anymore. I'm actually comfortable. Last night, I ate chili with corn chips, potato chips and cookies. Today, I'm having a salad. Original Review: I was so excited to try this again, but it's been a disappointment due to the fact I cannot get it to cushion either of my lower dentures or help them to stay in my mouth without having to use a denture adhesive. This really defeats my purpose for buying it. I followed the instructions, but I cannot figure out why the seller tells us to put the tube in cap down. Whenever I took it out of the water, my fingers would get wet. Then I would end up having to dry them just to put the Cushion Grip in. No matter how many times I've tried, my lower dentures will not stay in my mouth. Maybe I need better instructions. I feel for almost $20, this is not of value to me like I thought it would be. You would think someone could make a product to help with keeping our dentures in without all the hoo ha and pain or bad taste or burn because this stuff burns while setting. ... show more

I used this product on my lower denture and it actually last up to 2 days with a snug unmovable grip. My only qualms was the bright unnatural color when dry. Make sure the product isn’t visible after application and this is surely a good buy that suits its purpose.

Before I found this product I was using chewing gum to keep my dentures in place... I lost all my teeth early in life & have never had a problem with my top plate .. but the bottom plate had become a nightmare... It not only would slip around but i couldnt bite anything with it ... the dentist tried to help he recommended the denture glue ..it didnt help at all .. basically glued my lip to my gums .. then he tried to put a temporary liner in .. well not only did this taste horrible for weeks.. it fell out in chunks causing sores ... I had to stop wearing my bottom plate which was embarrassing plus I could only eat like yogurt & pudding... one day I remembered using gum for my top plate when I had first gotten it .. so I tried it & it worked really really well .. but you had to chew it to get it soft then change it often... sssooo I went looking online for something close to chewing gum & found this product!!! I got my first tube in the mail.. I read the directions!! Important!! Then I read the reviews good & bad .. most have some instructions on how to use it.... so I've made it through a whole tube before writing a review because I wanted to be sure I truely liked this enough to recommend it & I do!!! I have found some times it doesnt seem to be enough so instead of messing with it right away I like to wear it a few hours & decided if I need to add more... I dont take any thing out I warm the tube again dry out what I have already put in place & then add a few globs... I sometimes like to flatten it out or into my denture so I love that it pliable... I'd rather have to add more then put in too much & try to remove a portion... So what I love about it that it keeps my dentures in place .. helps to have some cushion just like it says.. so I can bite & chew... days after using the product I was able to chew down on a bacon cheese burger like I had when I was a teenager before my teeth were bad!! I can even chew gum! Eat fruit snacks! ... It takes some practice getting it to work just right at first .. practice makes perfect.. & it will warm up & mold with a little time... so be patient & if it needs more add more .. just be sure & dry with a Qtip what is already in the denture ... also it last alot longer for me then the 4 days ... I rinse it out with water & swish with listerine... then when i change it I give it a good scrubbing & dry it out really well... before i apply the cushion... I have mixed feelings about this product. 1. The "key" they provide to help get all of the product out of the tube doesn't work. I have tried several times to use it, but it's too big, then the seem pops open and ends up puncturing the tube. I have had to buy and tube squeezer to keep this from happening. 2. The cure time is 6 hours, and you can't eat or drink anything during that time. I have to do this at night, because I am constantly drinking water throughout my day. 3. I don't find that this holds my denture and partial in. It definitely helps with the fit of my denture but I still have to use an adhesive to keep them in place. My understanding of this product was that it would keep them in place without additional products. All in all, I give it a 3, but I will continue to use it until my dentist is able to get my denture properly sized. ... show more

LIFESAVER! So worth the money!

This stuff is easy to apply and so worth the money. You put the tube in hot water for 5 mins while that's warming up you clean and dry your dentures then after the 5 minutes take the tube out of the waywr and dry the tube then squeeze out the desired amount then put it on denture wait a few minutes then put in your mouth and your done. It will burn for a little bit at first but it doesn't last long and it doesn't burn that bad. It's so worth the results. Also you will probably want to do at night because you don't need to drink for an hour or so afterwards and don't eat for a few hours. Also it may take a couple of times for you to figure out exactly how much you will need. It's different for everyone. I just cut the excess off after it has set for several hours. I only use it on my bottoms but I'm use it would make just as good a difference on the top. With using this product I no longer use fixodent on my bottoms at all. I just don't need it on the top. This has helped me so much. The only side effect I have had is the burning for less than a minute when I first apply it but other than that no other gum irritation. I bought the twin pack a couple of years ago and am still using the second one. I apply it every 3 to 4 weeks usually. I reapply when it becomes loose. I've only used it once, so far, but it sure has made a huge difference in my mouth/chewing comfort! My old recliner had broken down to where there was just no cushion left at all; just hard & unforgiving. Was hurting to eat anything even a little tough, like Twizzlers. Two was all I could take. It doesn't matter how tasty something is if it's killing your gums to chew on it. A friend said she used & like this, so I got some. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!!! I read the reviews. All the ones that say something negative? I'd lay money on the probability that they did not 1) read 2) follow the dang directions!! I did both. Put the tube in a cup of hot (whatever temp your tap water gets you!) water & leave there for 5 mins (or whatever the directions say!) to get pliable. Use the key at the end of the tube so you can squeeze out a 3/4" glob of it, & put the cap back on. Roll the glob between your palms until it's long enough for the dentures, & press it down into the area your gums usually occupy. Let it sit for 2 mins. Put it in & bite down like you normally would. Will be a bit stingy/burn for a few minutes (like a shot of whiskey!). Only do one, upper OR lower, at a time until one of them is cured (6 hrs). Make sure you cleaned AND DRIED them well before using this! I did my bottom set & 4 days dater it's still comfortable. Still need to use some denture grip/glue. The burning doesn't last more than a few minutes. It's really the only con, & goes away. It doesn't taste horrible! Helps the fit immensely. Cures (relatively) quickly. Cushions wonderfully! My mouth feels like my dentures upgraded from a dirt bike to a Cadillac! Feels like I should be able to remove the liner, when it stops cushioning, fairly easily. So that's my first use impression. Just read/follow the dang directions! This stuff is kinda spendy for the size tube, but it does work really well, & don't need to reapply/redo it every day. It makes a huge difference in comfort & fit! It does seal food out, very well, too. If your dentures clack around, hurt, are lose, don't stay in position, try this.
