Features

  • Plumbing Protection: Our pipe heating cable uses electricity to heat the entire length of the hose in order to keep the hose above the 59F (15C) so that at -40F (-40C) in winter night, the water will flow smoothly through your hose as well, due to ordinary water hose may freeze water due to low temperature
  • Intelligent Energy-Saving: When our pipe heating cable detects that the water temperature is below 41F (5C) , the heating system starts to work and stops when the water temperature reaches 59F (15C), so that you can avoid high electricity bills due to long continuous heating
  • Safety Guaranteed: Operation with 120V and an external ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) power outlet prevents overheating problems due to short circuits, and built-in wires are completely wrapped to avoid our pipe heat cables malfunction due to water seepage
  • Easy Installation: All you need to do is lay our heating tape straight or wrap it around the water pipe and secure it with the supplied fiberglass tape; and if you want to test it, please put the thermostat in ice water, plug it in, wait for a few minutes you can feel the cable heating up
  • Customer Service: 3-year after-sales service, we're always pay more attention on you and want to receive your feedback of using our pipe heater, and if you have any questions, please let us know at any time

  • Very easy to install
Model: 3FT
It is performing very well!

  • Work well for hydrants with insulation
Model: 3FT
These all worked great for heating my hydrants in my RV Park. I ordered 20. I tape them flat on the riser pipe and ordered pipe insulation for 2” pipes and taped that over the heat tape. They have all performed well so far with temps dropping below 20 degrees a couple times already. We also use heated hoses with these for hookup to RVs in winter. With 3’ long heat tapes we didn’t have to wind them around the hydrant, but just laid them flat on the surface. I’m in Kentucky so won’t get much below zero here. ... show more

  • 100 ft / 3 ft heating tape work well in sub freezing temperatures
Model: 3FT
I purchased the 100 foot and 3 foot heating tape independently. They are both working as expected in sub freezing conditions. Initially I was having issues with the 100-ft, but it turns out I just needed to reset the GFCI and that put me back in business. I purchased independent outside of this purchase 500 6-in zip ties that I have used to secure along my 75 ft hose. I also have a foam tubing to provide additional insulation as I am close to 11,000 feet up in the mountains. My 75 ft hose was completely frozen but within about 2 hours water is running as expected. I engaged customer service and they were outstanding with communication and troubleshooting steps. I'd also recommend those who believe that they're out of luck after 30 days to contact the vendor directly through the Amazon app. I bought my heating tape October 10th so it has been well over 30 days but there is a warranty and this extends to most products you will find on Amazon. ... show more

  • Very stiff but does the job
Model: 15FT
The heat tape was more stiff that I expected. It make it hard to wrap around the pipe - I was afraid I'd break the already cold pipes I was trying to protect - the stiffness and curl also made it hard to run the tape straight along the pipe. If I had the time to stretch it and let it sit for a few days, I bet the problem would have been solved. BUT I needed it the night it arrived. ... show more

  • Seems to be working well
Model: 3FT
Working well so far, but we’re only two months into winter, but we have had a few below zero days and have not lost my water

  • Easy to use. Good quality
Model: 18FT
Easy to install! I live in a 5th wheel. Our water line is regular PVC. I had it completely installed in a matter of minutes. It comes with zip ties and a roll of tape. It's been plugged in, and I haven't had any problems with it! No busted water pipes this year, Baby!!

  • Works great. Only uses 15 watts.
Model: 3FT
Does the job. Only uses 15 watts. I only wish it would turn on at 32 degrees instead of 58 degrees.
