I got this cologne for my boyfriend and I’m honestly so obsessed with how it smells on him. It has this clean, masculine scent with a slightly sweet, musky touch that’s super attractive without being overpowering. Every time he wears it, I notice it immediately. It’s one of those scents that makes you wanna get closer. It smells so fresh, and just really appealing overall. It also lasts really well throughout the day which I absolutely love! If I could get this a no star, I would I paid over $75 for this. I had high hopes for it. It smells like a woman’s perfume. Kind of like vanilla Makes me gag. Just it absolutely does not work. This is probably the smell cologne I’ve ever smelled in my Life. It’s absolute garbage. If you wanna waste your money on it. Go right ahead. But it smells. Absolutely horrible.

I am going to rate this based on product smell and whether or not it lives up to it's claims, and on that I give it a 4 star rating, because the vanilla is a bit much on this cologne, but it is a solid product with a lasting scent and it does seem to contain the pheremones it promises. The smell is kind of similar to a vanilla cupcake with a lot of frosting, at least until the top scent burns off or the olfactory fatigue kicks in. After that it is a much more subtle scent that I actually really like, even though it still has a light sweetness to it. I will openly state that I do believe in pheromones. Some people don't and that is fine, but I have used pheromone colognes and tried quite a few and they do make ME feel different and whether it is a change in my personality or a subtle effect from the cologne, in my experience people do react differently to certain pheromone colognes. This cologne lists Androstenone, Androstenol and Androstadienone in the ingredients and the price of the product matches what you would expect for a product with these chemicals in it. I have actually ordered all three of these chemicals by themselves to try and make my own scent in the past, (something I never perfected) and this cologne feels like a cologne with this mix would feel like, so I believe that the product is legit. It isn't going to make women magically fall in love with you or anything silly like that, but what it seems to do for me, is make people find me more approachable, make people talk to me more, and make people notice me a little bit more. The self effects, which are probably the most important, are it elevates my mood a bit, makes me feel slightly more confident/less in my head, and maybe as a reaction to people finding me more approachable, I find that it is easier for me to talk to strangers or comment on someone elses conversation, etc. There are no blatant or magic effects from wearing a pheromone cologne, but it is kind of hard not look for pheromones in the colognes you try once you have experienced a real pheromone cologne, which this seems to be (unlike Pure Instincts, Raw, etc. which might contain some sort of pheromone, but not on the same level) This is more inline with products like Aqua Vitae by Liquid Alchemy Labs, Alfa Maschio from Alpha Dream (no longer available as far as I can tell) and other more prominent products in the pheromone community. While this product has good longevity, is well priced, and has solid effectiveness, I do kind of hope that Cupid will continue to tweak the scent, or offer a couple variant scents that maintain this pheromone mix, because this isn't my favorite smell, but I will continue to wear it for now. For the people who don't believe in pheromones, that is fine. Even I believe that the effects are subtle and maybe there is a placebo effect at play. If so, the results I get are still beneficial and an effective placebo is still effective. Also there is a level of congruence necessary when it comes to pheromones. If you are feeling down on yourself, have confidence problems, are deeply anti-social then (in my belief) these pheromone signals will seem out of place and even creepy when people detect them on you, and that level of incongruence/mixed signals might actually cause people to avoid you, kind of like seeing a mascot in a soiled felt costume in front of the stadium, or a party clown drunk and smoking a cigarette in an alley. The pheromones have to match the mood and behavior of the person wearing them, or they will just be perceived as "off" and people might actively ignore or avoid you. Also there is an element of diminishing returns. I don't suggest wearing phero-cologne every day. Let yourself experience baseline, and add phero cologne on days when it is strategic, or else it will just become the baseline and you might not get the benefits anymore.

Love this cologne. I tried the last Cupid's Hypnosis and loved it. This one has a bit of a stronger scent, but the scent is REMARKABLE! I've been getting some good looks when I've been out and about lately. I have a few colognes but this is the one I find myself naturally gravitating towards. Bottle is great quality and memorable. Highly recommend. Great value for the money!

Smells ok. My wife liked it but the online ads overly exaggerate the reactions from women. The bottle is very sleek. Personally I don’t think $75 is worth it considering it’s eau du toilette. I usually wear oil based colognes. Ironically enough, my wife stated the scent was more like something she would wear than for a man. So, not very masculine.

I really love the new Hypnosis Cupids perfume. The scent is not overwhelming strong and the length has a long lasting effect. To me it has a little sweet smell (vanilla) but not bitter. I do really like it because I've had other people ask me what am I wearing that smells really good. The bottle design is really nice and tested the bottle and had no leaks even when I shaked the bottle. Highly recommend this as I'll be getting more of these for gifts

Smell great. It might attract the women. But dont put in on and go play poker. I played 2.5 hrs and never won one hand. So have you friends buy it and secretly spray it on all the other players you cant lose.

Awful! Worst smelling cologne I have ever put on. Way 2 strong 4 me. Very expensive for what you get. As for the attracting females aspect, not sure about that (never wore it around a female). Just awful and would never buy it again (went in the trash cause you can’t send it back). Oh well.
