    • Some issues, but they stepped up big!
The desk came in defective, as holes to attached the main desktop to the drawers are not in the right place. I attached the desk using duck tape and it is a holding and doing the job. It is a good desk and I have adjusted my rating from one to five because of the attentive customer service, I received a full refund, the customer service team stayed with me, and more than made up for the issue. Stuff happens on assembly lines, what counts is if the company steps up and Cubiker did in a big way, I’ll take my chances and get another desk from them based on that. ... show more

Shipping box pretty bang up, all corners of the desk top are broken, as well as dented on one side other than that the desk is pretty nice and sturdy. Seller did offer partial refund. Will purchase metal edge protectors to cover the broken edges.

    • Fast delivery but poor quality control.
The instructions, part labeling, packaging and delivery were all great. However, the Allen wrench provided was stripped and virtually useless halfway through assembly. One leg of the desk was missing a bolt-hole punch, so I had to do it myself. The two desk tops don't quite line up, as the smaller one is slightly warped. Worst of all, when the desk was assembled correctly, one bolt wouldn't line up, which reduces the stability of the desk. ... show more

I gave it 5 stars for ease of build, which it is if you’re paying attention to the pictures in the instruction manual. I wasn’t looking carefully and ended up having to flip one of the pieces so that all the screw holes aligned properly. As other reviewers mentioned the hex tool that is supplied is made from very mild steel and will round out by the time you’re finished. I was even careful to not fully tighten/torque all the screws until I was completely finished and the tool still rounded out, but I got the job done. Once built the desk is very sturdy with no lateral movement in any direction. The packaging was excellent with plenty of styrofoam between the pieces to keep everything from shifting and scratching during shipping. I received the box and all the pieces without any damage. I can only assume that the factory uses the same bag of screws for multiple items as I had a few extra bolts the didn’t fit anything and no mention of them in the manual. Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase and will not hesitate from buying this desk again. The two drawers are more like fabric bins that fit very snuggly into the slots. They were definitely not designed for constantly opening and closing but are fine for holding extra office supplies that you’ll only access occasionally like an extra pen or notepad. ... show more

    • Poor quality, decent desk, excellent customer service.
Update: after seeing my review the seller has given me a full refund. Excellent customer service! My desk got delivered with two corners smashed in. I contacted the company to ask for a new desktop and was told they would give me $35 for my troubles. I told them $35 wasn’t worth anything when I would need to buy a new desk as I keep getting stuck on one of the busted corners and they agreed to send me a new desk as they don’t have spare parts. On top of the busted corners, the rails on the drawers weren’t even but that wasn’t the end of the world for me for the price I paid. Upon receiving the new desk, the new desktop was perfect. I gave the extra desk and busted desk top to my boyfriend as he wouldn’t use the desk as much as I use mine (I work from home and he doesn’t). Putting together the second desk, the drawer rails are completely bent in. Maybe it’s the packaging the company is using, or maybe these desks are just a really poor quality.     • The most infuriating piece of furniture to put together. But it's cute.
Size: 47 inch Color: Brown
First off, it is a good looking desk and it's just the right size for my small apartment. The top is nice and wide, enough room to put my printer on and still have space to work. But I've never cursed so much trying to put together a piece of furniture before, and I've assembled every shelf, table and desk I've ever owned. I had to duck tape the two parts of the frame together because the screws didn't hold it together. It's missing two holes to attach the stabilizers so that takes away from the sturdiness factor. And luckily it didn't happen until the end, but the Allen wrench it came with got stripped so I couldn't tighten all of the screws all the way. It works as a temporary replacement for the Walmart desk I just got rid of, but I wouldn't take it with me when I move again because chances are it wouldn't survive. This was way too complicated for a simple piece of furniture. As of right now, it serves its purpose and looks nice, but it's way overpriced. It's worth maybe half of what I paid, but it's not easy finding the right size desk with drawers that doesn't also weigh a ton and take two people to put together. ... show more

On one hand, this product is a nightmare to assemble. The directions are unclear and if you buy it, it will probably take you 2 tries for almost every step to get it right. However, it’s possible to assemble; it just takes awhile. On the other hand, it’s a great product. The drawers do seem to be made cheaply and are fabric, but they are spacious (see picture) and actually look pretty good. The shelf also is useful (it can fit multiple books and a binder with lots of room to spare) and the entire desk is very sturdy. It’s an upgrade from my last desk and I absolutely love it. I’m a college student taking remote classes so I need the space. I was surprised to find out that there’s so much space on top. To give you an idea, it’s able to fit a 13” laptop, a notebook, a small whiteboard, an organizer and a lamp comfortably (see my picture to see how much space there is; I didn’t include the laptop in the picture but it gives you an idea). I highly recommend it and it seems to be of great quality considering the price. Definitely consider buying it!! ... show more
