I did so for two reasons: customer service and quality. They are responsive and courteous when contacted, and, their desks are great quality. They assemble quickly (this one in <30 minutes) and everything goes together easily and tight. This table is absolutely perfect — it’s very sturdy, the lines are clean and very well made, looks great and classy and easy enough to assemble. I love how there’s a table on the side for my printer and a bin to keep my office materials neat and organized. To sum it up it is a very good deal for what you get. My ONLY complaint is that it did come with a chip mark on the top part that most likely happened during transit. I was able to cover it up for the most part. I’m giving 5 stars overall because it seems sturdy, was easy to put together and comes with storage for such a good price! My old desk broke because it was poorly designed, so I wanted to order something simple and I came across this desk. What really stood out was the extra storage and the low price.     • Pay close attention assembly diagrams, especially the hole locations in the metal parts.
For the price, this is a great looking, sturdy and clean desk, in my opinion. The shelf seems to be very sturdy and capable of holding a fair amount of weight. The file box is kind of flimsy, but I don't plan on heavy duty use of it. I'm a tall guy, and my legs fit underneath the top with plenty of room to spare. My only complaint is that you have to really look at the assembly diagrams to make sure you are using the holes shown in the metal part of the frame and supports in a proper reference. You can get messed up, especially when you are working from the back side of the desk and not mirroring properly in your mind. I ended up with the file box frame on the opposite side of the desk as it is shown in the pictures, but that doesn't matter. ... show more

I like this desk ALOT and it made my room feel extra complete, however the picture shows the legs look gray whether you zoom in or out- they are definitely black. That was my only problem with the color. Another misconception was parts of the desk didn’t fit when I wanted to put the drawer on the inside, so I had no option but to put it on the outside. ... show more

It fits perfectly in my guest room and the assembly took approximately an hour. Make sure to spread pieces out on the floor by numbers or letters and READ directions first before assembling the desk. It was delivered on time, well protected for the corners, and extra nuts and bolts/screws. I’m a petite woman and can put it together by myself, so anyone can do it! Just have to read directions carefully first and not to screw everything too tight until it is finally assembled. That way, if you make mistakes, it’s easier to disassemble and fix it. Exactly what I need for my new work at home normal. Fits my 2 monitors and laptop. I like that I can put the side shelves on the inside since I don’t have room on the outside. I was able to put together myself with a little help from my kids to hold pieces in place while I screw together.

Ordered this product last week and just started building it today. Unfortunately, one of the main supports for the desk (part A) is clearly defective with the holes in the wrong place such that I can put in the horizontal support bars. What a bummer.
