I love this desk! I'm loving the space that I have with it and all the shelves! It is easy to wipe down and it was easy for one person to put together in about an hour. It is very sturdy and it looks nice! I've received a compliment on it already! Holy cannoli so heavy!! Definitely make sure you have plenty of room to build it! I also suggest you build it where it’s going to stay. I was in a small corner where it was gonna go and after step 3/4 when you start building the top part it was particularly difficult to flip the bottom half. Overall super sturdy feeling, large and very durable feeling! Only had one piece slightly off but was able to adjust and use a bigger screw! Exactly how I envisioned it and for the price worth it! Got it on sale but would buy full price! Lots of screws but instructions are very easy to follow! Would be best with 2 people since a lot of the shelves are basically a balancing game when screwing them in! Also came with 2 of the same tool to build the item! I got this desk for my remote job that I am starting soon. It was very quick for me to build in the middle of the day during my kids naptime and once the way woke up , even with them crawling all around me - it was still easy to build. All of the screw holes lined up and I love that it came with extra screws for some sections although I didn’t have to use them. It’s very easy to clean and wipe off with a wipe or multi purpose spray. There is a ton of space and the quality of the desk is great. I added an adjustable monitor stand so I can alternate between sitting and standing. The stand hangs off a little but it’s not an issue for me at all. I have lots of space. I needed a bigger desk because I start a new work from home job Monday (tomorrow). I needed something that will come before then and I found this desk. I’ve been working from home since 2019 and I found me a very sturdy desk for less than 100 bucks. Unfortunately, with this desk it does chip and it is flimsy to me. I asked my son to try and set it up for me because I’ve been out of town and he started but got stuck on a part of the desk where he can’t get the screw out so now I have to figure out how to either get the screw out or just how to continue. So right now it’s 11 PM on a Sunday night and I have to have everything set up tomorrow for tech check Monday morning. I’ll come back in a few hours with the finished product and my final review. Update: I finished around 4:00am. Now that I have it together, it’s pretty decent. It is a little wobbly. I don’t know if it’s because I have carpet or that’s just how it is. I do have a small room and I have a king size bed so it’s not a lot of room to move around. But overall I like it. I got the black color. The media could not be loaded. Update: they replaced the whole desk, I was not expecting that. I thought I would just be receiving the missing part. The desk looks great and is a lot more stable. They were in constant communication all the way up until I received the replacement. Update: the company reached out and are sending the missing part. They were in constant contact and made sure the part they were sending was the correct one. Not once did I have to keep contacting them. I was truly excited to receive this desk: Pros 1. It was packed very well 2. Easy to put together 3. Instructions were easy to follow 4. Desk looks amazing after it was put together 5. Parts were in perfect condition Con 1. Missing a major part 2. H1 the leg 3. No lower shelves because of missing leg 4. Had to rig one thing in order to put up the top shelves because the screw had to go through the missing leg 5. The other leg was no very sturdy so I had to rig one of the shelves between it to make it more sturdy Overall it was a good purchase and I love the style and look. Just really disappointed with the missing part, a very important missing part I was not happy. Needed more desk space, so I shopped around and found this one. Was sorely disappointed with the selection and price of furniture elsewhere (and here to be honest), so I settled for this. Was worried from some reviews that it would be damaged on delivery. Despite UPS's best attempts to maul my package, the parts inside were actually VERY WELL protected with foam and plastic bags so everything was great apart from a few scratches. The extra space really helps assuming you can't really configure your office/room space any differently. I would definitely recommend having a second person assemble this with you - Lifting and turning the table during assembly probably won't go too well otherwise. The edges of the desk are thankfully beveled a little bit so you don't have a 90 degree angle burrowing into your arms when you rest them on the desk. Following instructions, everything turned out fine. Only complaints I have are as follows. The hutch shelf is like 3 to 5 degrees away from being plumb. It's not really a noticeable issue to be honest. The desk is a bit higher than other desks I feel? I feel like the highest setting on my chair is still too low as I'm not in the most ergonomic position typing. A keyboard tray would have been a boon. You might have to get another gas piston for your office chair to keep good posture, I'll probably end up doing that. ... show more
