Overall, I like this desk. I ordered 2 desks of different designs, one for home and one for Church study. This one under the CubiCubi name, and the other under the Cubiker moniker. See the end of the review for a few protips that solve some issues people have had with assembly. When this one arrived, I was concerned about the condition of the box. However, everything inside the box was intact. The assembly was relatively easy. I gave it four stars, but there are a few places where two people are necessary. All the tools are provided (see pro-tip 2 below) and there are extras of most spare parts in case you lose or damage screws/dowels. I chose the rustic finish and really like it. The surface treatment seems very durable, and the boards are of a very dense composite board. I sort of hoped the metal would be 18gauge, but are only 20g. However, the desk seems very strong, stable, and sturdy. The drawer is not great. The supports are stamped steel, that you fold to form a channel.. The drawer is like the pop up baskets you might purchase for shelf storage. The drawer will not hold itself in the frame when you pull it forward. Originally I was going to put my desk drawer organizer full of pens, pencils and many other things. It fit in the drawer, but was too heavey. The drawer now holds thumb drives, charging cords, cleaning cloths and a few small external drives--and I have a pen cup instead. I am using the desk as an office desk for my laptops, and it works well. It is solid enough the be a gaming desk, but 19inches might be too shallow if you have a large monitor. The longer side of this desk is great, and I am glod I purchased this model that is 67in long instead of the one that is 59in. Overall, a great little desk and I am well pleased. Pro-tips: 1-When assembling the frame, only finger tighten the screws. This will allow some extra movement when lining the screws up that hold the desk top on. Once the top screws are in and finger tight, tighten up the frame. Then square up the top and tighten it down starting from one end and moving to the other. Tighten the wire cross supports last, after everything is squared.

Here's the kind of review I was hoping to find when researching for an L shaped desk! I was looking for the perfect desk for our guest bedroom that would provide lots of space for laptops, and space for any purchases our company might bring home. This desk was EXACTLY what we needed! The L shape was ideal for the space in that bedroom. We are 100% happy with this very nice looking desk. It's very sturdy for a computer worktable, and our 2 guests who stayed with us for a week both worked sitting at it at the same time. It got a huge thumbs up! It was easy to put together, and gave my hubby and I a nice little project that didn't take very long to get it done. 1 person could easily assemble it too.

***Context*** I ordered 2 of these desks at the exact same time on the exact same day. The reason I ordered 2 was to put them back to back in this shape: ⅃ L (for 2 people) One came within a week in 2020 and the other one took over a month and arrived in 2021. During this time, there seems to be some significant upgrades that happened to the desk and I wish that both were the newer version. ***Desk Shape: Can be ⅃ OR L Shape*** The default desk shape is ⅃, but it is possible to make an L shape by carefully reading the instructions and flipping them around. All of the components are modular, so be sure to really think about it if you want to flip the table. ***Differences*** The desk that came first is squared off, has shorter leg end caps, and is slightly shorter (see attached pictures). It feels slightly cheaper than the new version and the frame isn't nearly as precise. The next difference is that the small table/riser that goes on the desktop is different. The old one has legs and rubber pads that are far superior. The new table came with a different design to the legs. The old one also has a black underside, whereas the new one has the same texture on the top and bottom. They also seem to have changed their manufacturing process and every component of the new desk has a sticker label on it. The old desk frame seems to have its holes punched through quite quickly, which leaves little hole-punch metal pieces that rattle in the leg frames (not an issue when the old desk is stationary and assembled). The new desk frame seems to have the holes slowly pressed through, which leaves the metal hanging inside the frame. The new desk feels like better quality. The old desk has the wood pattern printed on the top with a plain black print on the bottom of the desk surface. The new desk has the wood patter printed on the top AND on the bottom of the desk surface. The old desk has the desktop mounting screws spread out, which makes the table top disconnect from the frame. The new desk has the desktop mounting screws closer together, which makes the table top connect better to the frame. ***⅃essons Learned*** I assembled the second table in reverse. I put the table top surfaces on the ground with the bottom side up. This allows a very stable platform to build the desk. The one that came first, I assembled it as per the instruction manual and it doesn't feel as stable or square. Again, I believe this is because reversing the instructions is so much more stable. Once I assembled the new desk, I flipped it over (which is easy, because the tables are pretty light). Then further tightened the screws. ***Shipping Package*** I would describe the packaging that both desks shipped in as "minimal." Both had loose items rattling around and both has the bare minimum of protective shipping material. This looseness in packaging affected both the first and second desk.
