THE BACKSTORY I had ordered a desk to work from home. My original plan was to get one with collapsible legs so when the world stops being crazy, I can stuff it in a closet. The one I originally ordered (from "Halter" - name has now changed to "Zinus" - Zinus Mare Folding Desk) arrived VERY late, VERY broken, in a VERY ripped-up box. It clearly had arrived broken to another customer, who returned it because it was broken, and then they sent it on to me. Horrible experience. But, I tried again. This desk was cheaper, came in 2 days, is sturdy, and absolutely gorgeous. It's the perfect size and is so convenient to put my work laptop, home laptop, separate monitor, keyboard, mouse, some notebooks, pens, markers, coffee (essential), and still have surface room to maneuver and work on. THE ASSEMBLY I deducted a single star from assembly because there was one part in the instructions that could have been labeled better so I wouldn't have had to undo all my screws and then switch the legs once I realized some holes didn't match up for the final step. So just watch for that when you assemble, and you should be fine! Assembly itself was super easy. It came with an Allen wrench, which is all you need! Each screw type came with a spare (which I appreciate). It's constructed really well -- all of the holes lined up easily so the screws went in very easily. PROS - Gorgeous to look at - Very sturdy - Easy to assemble (just pay close attention to which leg goes on which side -- it does matter) - Perfect size - Came in 2 days - Was packaged well (no dents or scratches here!) - Great price

I got the 40" desk to add a little surface area to an RV bedroom. It fits perfectly and has enough space to accommodate a desktop monitor and keyboard with space for writing to the side. Looks nice, easy to build out, and the cross braces keep the unit stable. Very happy with the furniture.

I want to start off saying that I really love this desk. Coming from a 47" x 17" desk with barely any legroom, this thing is awesome. The biggest benefit this desk carries with itself is desk space and legroom. Seriously, 63" at this price-point is very hard to find, and props to this company for providing it. As far as the build, the frame is made of metal and the top is particle board with a nice looking laminate put over it. Even though this isn't real wood, I appreciate the laminate for providing water resistance and scratch resistance to the top. The desk was decently easy to assemble, maybe took me 30 minutes. The instructions are clear, you get a tiny alan-wrench, and you get extra screws just in case you lose some. One of the screws for the frame was very hard to screw in, it took a lot of extra force that shouldn't be necessary, this just might be exclusively my case though. As far as the sturdiness goes, this is why I didn't give it a full 5 stars. The desk definitely feels sturdy, I read it holds up to 225 pounds, and I'm sure it could easily handle that number, because I have 2 monitors and my mid-tower PC sitting on this thing, along with a lot of extras, and it handles it like a champ. However, this desk wobbles super easily, like really really easily. Just shaking it a little will produce a lot of wobble. I am able to look past it, but if you're a serious PC gamer, a heavy typer, or simply like to draw a lot, you're gonna notice the wobble sometimes. That is why I didn't give it 5 stars. I would like to give it 5, but it's not perfect, that cheap price is there for a reason, it's because it's not a perfect product. However, it is still worth it in my eyes, because a lot of the budget 60" desks go for generally $150-$200, and this one is only $125. This price range is where a lot of the good 55" desks sit, but here we have a 63"! If you need 60 inches, get this desk, if you don't, then there are great, highly reviewed 55 inch desks that will probably produce less wobble.

On the product: - Easy 5-star, worth the investment - Plenty of leg space (I'm 6 feet) - Nice wood look with a glossy finish - White is a very bright white - Black metal frame is very black (not dark grey as I thought from the picture) with a matte finish - Very easy to put together - Feet don't scratch my floor, even when I move it around (often) Customer service story time! - When I built the desk, I saw that one of the height-adjustable feet had been smashed into the frame. It was easy enough to get it out, but it was irreparably damaged. I contacted support. - They responded next day saying they didn't have any more height-adjustable feet, but they could send me feet that weren't height-adjustable. I said yes, and they said it could arrive in 3 weeks. - It actually came in half that time! And not just four feet for the desk with maybe a spare or two. No, they sent me ONE HUNDRED of them (see pic). Lol what. What do I do with all these? - I was afraid that the desk would not be even without the height-adjustable feet, but by design or happenstance it actually is even with the new feet!

You’re literally getting the highest quality desk for this price point. It has an excellent finish and comes with all the hardware (including an Allen wrench) you need to assemble it in 5-10mins. All holes are pre drilled and reinforced. All of the screws went in perfectly and secured tightly. I couldn’t be happier with the my purchase and it genuinely feels like a desk that will last for several years!
