The media could not be loaded. I was very surprised by the quality of this board given the price point of it. Its a sollid board and even carries a little weight with it. All the knobs and dials are also solid nothing loose nothing popping off they slide nicely there's no hesitation on anything so the setup itself the board itself is really good and again pretty solid. I wanted to mix a few tracks which I was able to run the board to my laptop and use it with the software that I have for recording, and I just want to say that the board handled it nicely I had zero interference with the microphones I was using with the system the game held nicely and long story short the recording came out just how I wanted it. The Bluetooth connected pretty quickly without any troubles at all. I'm primarily going to be using it for voice over work as well as mixing vocal tracks for some songs I'm working on and this board is perfect for it in my opinion. Again I was surprised on how solid the board was how the knobs were all smooth nothing loose nothing popping off and it makes what I wanted to perfectly. This is great for a beginners or even for pros in my opinion. I like it for the price point in my opinion you can't go wrong if you're looking for a nice six channel mixing console board definitely would recommend this one. ... show more

    • Quality Mixer with a Few Odd Quirks - Recommended for Live but Not Recordings
Model: 6-Channel
The media could not be loaded. In my testing, all channels and features work well and as advertised. The user manual is well written but not super detailed, so a working knowledge of audio equipment beforehand is required. A few things I really like about this mixer: The physical construction is solid – it has a metal frame, no loose ports, and little wobble in the dials and faders. Full-size sliders on a compact board. No special drivers are required to record to a PC. It has balanced, unbalanced, monitor, and control room outputs for a versatile speaker and monitoring setup. Despite being limited, the built-in reverb processor at a $100 price point is a nice value add. A few things I dislike about this mixer: There are some weird design decisions and quirks, such as changing the mains volume also being linked to and changing the headphone monitoring volume. The USB output is a single stereo signal so there is no way to record each channel separately and edit later – what you capture live is what you get. The USB/mp3 interface controls are annoying to use and the settings menu is very limited. I would recommend this budget mixer for a home studio or small live performance, but it is not high quality enough to recommend for studio recording. The noise floor on this mixer is higher than most I have used before (lower quality internal circuitry?) so there is always a background hiss in recordings, even at moderate volumes. Additionally, the USB interface used for recording to a PC is very low volume and has electrical static noise in the signal. I have included a short clip comparing the various recording methods on this mixer to my old Behringer mixer, though I am unsure if the subtle differences will still be noticeable after Amazon compresses the audio in the video file. ... show more

This review is coming form my very music and audio inclined teen. He creates music, videos, plays multiple instruments, and loves this thing. He was a bit skeptical when it first arrived, and we did need to buy a few extra audio cords, but once he had it up and running he was quite impressed. He reports it really cleans up the sound in his music, as well as his videos, and says it well made and quite sturdy, which he wasn't expecting at all. He's admittedly only an intermediate level using this, but he really likes it and tells me all the time about the different ways he's been utilizing it, so it's a win for us. ... show more

The build on this thing is excellent. It has a metal chassis and it's very robust. The faders have a sturdy feel and the your purchase will include plenty of extra knobs replacement pieces. It's has a traditional console control surface. It has useful VU meters. The USB description of what the USB interface does is confusing in the marketing literature and in the product documentation. It provides a single channel stereo in and out for the whole board. It is not like an audio interface where any single channel may be accessed. I tried living with this as a single IO audio interface, and while it's kinda possible, that's not what this device is designed for. The documentation on this device is insufficient for someone who is new to audio engineering. But it only has one bus, so it's a fairly simple device to learn. If you need a traditional control surface audio mixer with some ability to exchange data with a computer, this is a competent device. ... show more

I'm really liking this audio mixer. It has pretty much everything you need for recording and mixing audio. The mic preamps are nice and quiet but don't have a huge amount of character to them like some of the big console mixers. That can actually be a plus if you are trying to get a nice clean sound into your DAW as you can always enhance the sound later with plugins. My last mixer was a Mackie and feature wise things have come a long way with Bluetooth and USB there is a whole new dimension of usefulness. The EQs get the job done just fine.
