Summer time is fast approaching, but strangely enough, I use my grill in the winter as well! Unfortunately, grill brushes are more of a summertime item for grocery stores to carry so I turned to Amazon and found this one! I absolutely love red and black things, so finding this particular grill brush in those colors was so exciting. I was very happy to be able to acquire this grill brush months before supermarkets will even offer their cheaply made but expensively priced ones. I'm a little nervous that the red bristles will turn black over extended use, but it's a risk I'm willing to take, as it makes my grill look super crisp and matchy-matchy. After reading about folks that got a metal brush bristle caught in their throats, I decided to switch to this brush which has large plastic bristles. Should one of these bristles come loose, you wouldn't miss seeing it as they are large and brightly colored. This brush works just fine; you must remember, however, to use the brush on a cool grate. These replacements are good, but they will only last a few cleanings as most times you clean on a warm or hot grill. Easy replacements make it cheaper than busying a new grill cleaner each time!
