I am a harsh critic who is rarely impressed by a product, but this little guy exceeded my expectations. I have a slight obsession with wanting to be a naked mole rat and have extremely sensitive skin (as well as KP on the back of my upper arms and legs), so I have had to get creative with my hair removal techniques. I have had a ton of professional laser hair removal sessions using different types of lasers on my underarms and full bikini area (Brazilian) and have used the NOOD IPL at home laser to touch up those areas since. I am pretty heavily tattooed and lasering over tattooed skin is a huge no-no and shaving makes my sensitive skin too irritated and causes my KP to flare up. I need to both physically and chemically exfoliate using AmLactin 10% cream religiously to manage my KP and I can’t shave and exfoliate on the same day because again sensitivo skin, so I was desperate to find a solution to this very first-world problem of mine. That’s when I discovered NOOD’s newest product that they launched, the NOOD eraser. I bought it immediately and was genuinely expecting it to be really Gimmicky and not at all effective, but it blew me away. It exfoliates like a dreammmm leaving your skin feeling just like a baby’s butt. It’s gentle enough for the most sensitive of skin (just be sure not to over-do it by passing over the same area repeatedly), and the best part? IT ACTUALLY REMOVES YOUR HAIR. I was shook. I have a crystal nail file and absolutely love it and once I got my hands on the NOOD eraser and saw how well it worked, I realized that it’s made out of the same thing as my nail file that I love so much so DUHHH it’s also going to work well for exfoliating the skin and removing the hair via friction. That’s also when I realized that I’m a dummy for paying $40 for a giant crystal nail file being marketed as a hair remover 😅 So naturally, being the dupe queen that I am, I immediately hopped on Amazon in search of a NOOD eraser dupe and stumbled across this cutie which was 1/4 of the price. When I first took it out of the package I noticed that the surface was a lot shinier than the NOOD eraser, which is very matte, and the texture was rougher. Aside from that, the size, shape, experience while using them, and results they produce are IDENTICAL. It turns out that the NOOD eraser is made of crystal and this hair remover is made of etched glass, which is why the two have a slightly different appearance and texture. I actually prefer this dupe over the NOOD eraser for the areas that are less sensitive because it’s more effective at removing the hair with less passes, making it a lot more time-efficient than the NOOD eraser. Now I only use the eraser for those areas like my upper arms and upper legs that don’t grow much hair, are sensitive AF and prone to KP bumps, and require a lot of exfoliating. Buy this affordable piece of magic if you want the smooth summer skin of your dreams!!

I want to start this off by saying- I was definitely the person that thought this product would be a god-send for me. I saw the negative reviews about it hurting their skin, but I thought "Oh- they probably just weren't using it right" WRONG. I used this hair eraser (more like skin eraser) this morning, and my legs and arms are on FIRE. Like a sun burn fire, but not even aloe can help. It's like a carpet burn but worse! It's also been at least 7 hours, and the redness and pain is still there. I also want to say I did NOT use this product dry. I exfoliated the night before, washed my skin this morning, and tried this over the bath tub when my skin was damp. I was being so gentle with it, and at the time I thought "Oh hey this product really works!". Then 15 minutes after, my skin turned this fiery red. I have raised welts all over my legs and arms from spots where the product was closer to the bonier areas, but I went in very small gentle circles the entire time. If I was more gentle I would have barely been touching my arms and legs! I am really hoping that somehow my skin calms down overnight, but it hurts just to wear pants and long sleeves, and touching the sheets with my skin is a nightmare. My main reason for purchasing this was to get rid of my strawberry leg texture, but now this texture is just ALL over the areas I used this product! I don't even have sensitive skin and I am in so much pain. I cannot even imagine that this is good for your skin barrier, and right now my main concern is that these welts are going to turn into scabs all over my body (and just in time for summer! 🥲) and that I also will burn (even more) if I go anywhere near the sun. This is not a miracle product. It is quite literally sand paper on your skin. PLEASE take this review seriously and purchase with caution.

Didn't know if these would work-- turns out they work great and leave my legs silky smooth. Some reviewers said it irritated their skin and made them red or raw--- rub don't grind. It does not need alot of pressure. I use dry oil and just lotion another time after using this then showering and am impressed. Only down fall is that I have to do it daily , but it's quick and easy and you can do it anywhere so not a problem.

I bought this for some emergency use, and because razor blades irritate my skin. It wasn't the easiest to use, didnt work very well, and my legs really weren't happy. Had multiple small rashes all over my legs for multiple weeks after. Definitely won't use again.

one of my friends had one of these and let me use it one and i thought it was great so i purchased one myself! i love it for a quick after pool touch up, however it doesn’t last as long as i originally thought! still like it though

This tool works great as a rough skin remover/exfoliate. I found it's best when skin is damp not dry. As fot a hair removal tool it worked okay. Didn't take the hair off as easily or quickly as I was expecting. With some work and patience it eventually did an okay job.

This actually works…. To the review of the person who had a bad reaction….. she exfoliated before she used this. DO NOT exfoliate. This is another form of exfóliation. And do not press hard on your skin as well. As long as you are doing circular motions and lightly you will see the hair coming off. If you can stretch your skin even better. I totally recommend this!!!! Threw my razors away!!!! Hopefully I never go back to them.

I selected this product after seeing some positive reviews and thinking, I don't have sensitive skin so this would be a great fit for me. I was very wrong! I followed the instructions very carefully and used it very gently. Thought it was a great find as it was working from a hair removal standpoint. Just moments after I finished, my skin started turning bright red with raised bumps. Nothing helped, and for 12 hours, they were on fire, and I couldn't sleep. It's been almost 2 weeks, and my arms still are rough and healing. Unfortunately, it was a big mistake!
