I bought these shorts to wear for quad skating. I’ve been using them for about 3 months and I skate about 5 times a week. I think these are a good value for the money. The padding is dense and the shorts are made of sturdy material. I’ve experienced no stretching and they fit true to size. I’ve hand washed them and they look and feel the same as when I bought them. I feel confident that I won’t need to replace them anytime soon. They do look fairly silly, but I buy shorts that are two times larger and wear them over these to disguise them a little. However, I’m willing to put up with that to keep my tailbone safe. Plus it gives me the confidence boost to push myself to try new things as I feel well protected.

My 6 year old son wants to skateboard but he fell several times and he complained about his tail bone. I immediately search for some suitable padding. This product was one of the most expensive I found costing nearly double other listing. I think I made the right choice since the padding is really thick and so far it has protected his behind quite well. He is now much more confident about skateboarding and that has reduce his chance of falling. I think this product made a huge difference in allowing him to enjoy skateboarding knowing his fall will be protected by the more than adequate cushioning. The only issue with the product is it is kinda big and ugly but safety first right? Also I look forward to him using this for snowboarding coming this winter.
