About Crosman In 1923 in Rochester, New York, Crosman was founded as Crosman Arms Company. From its inception, Crosman's principal products were airguns and airgun ammunition. During the 1950s, new accounts included Sears Roebuck & Co., Montgomery Ward, and Western Auto, all of which sold Crosman's products under their respective brand names. In 1966, Crosman introduced its own Crosman brand airgun, the Crosman Pumpmaster 760, which has sold more than 11 million units to date. Crosman Corporation is now an international designer, manufacturer, and marketer of Crosman pellet, BB, airsoft rifles and pistols, Copperhead ammunition, and Benjamin pellet rifles and ammunition.

  • Inexpensive Good Scope
First of all, don't use this on a spring-piston BB or Pellet Rifle. This scope cannot handle the double-recoil and the optics inside will get knocked out of their internal mounts. This scope is designed for air pumped rifles and handguns. As far as ease of usage, it's a bit squinty because of its small size and diameter of the optics (glass). The eye relief is okay. The windage and elevation does not click on my scope. When I mounted it on my Ruger air rifle, I almost had to use shims, but once I maxed out the elevation (too low) and windage (too far right), they were indeed maxed out, but did not need to make shims out of an aluminum can. You can also make shims out of aluminum foil or camera film. It's a small scope for sure, easy to store and lug around. But like any scope, don't hit it against any hard object, or the zeroing will get knocked out of adjustment. This scope has been around for decades under different names, models, etc. and it has stood the test of time. It is not the best scope, but it is an inexpensive and good scope. ... show more

  • Reliable Classic Sight That Delivers Simple Fun
I used this same Crosman 4x15 sight when I was young, and picking it up again now, it’s exactly how I remembered it. It’s simple to use, with two adjustment screws that make sighting in quick and straightforward. There’s nothing fancy about it, but for a cheap, compact little scope that gets the job done and adds some extra fun, it delivers exactly what you expect. ... show more

  • works great for what its worth but....
The thing is sturdy and easy to install. However, on an actual air-rifle its not so useful. It sits rigidly straight atop the rifle so if you are using it to aim you will always shoot above your target. there is no way to adjust the angle of the scope so really its only useful to use as a viewfinder then you switch to the rifle's own front sight, which is a little bit hard considering there's a big scope now in the way. Anyways, the thing looks great! ... show more

  • big improvement over iron sights
I placed the Crosman 410 Targetfinder scope on my Diana Stormrider PCP and experience a huge improvement over the iron sights, the scope fits the Stormrider perfectly, I did not need to remove the front sight as would have been the case with most scopes, the sleek design of the 410 fits right in with the sleek design of the Stormrider, I had planned on buying a better scope and move the 410 to one of my other air rifles but this one might just stay put. For my 20 yard range in the backyard, this scope is getting the job done. The scope is great for PCP or Pump air guns but I would not try it on a break barrel springer. ... show more

  • No Quality Safeguards
I have used this model scope before and would rate a working scope at a 5 out of 5 for the value, a 4 for its ability to perform at its price, and a 3 for quality of construction and materials. HOWEVER, this unit was assembled incorrectly or very poorly, or incompletely and the elevation adjustment was not functional. Upon mounting the scope on a Crosman 760, the elevation was about 12" low and would not move regardless of how many turns in either direction of the adjustment screw. If it would have worked like the other, I would have been happy with it. There were obviously no quality checks performed on this unit in the manufacturing facility. I will not gamble for a working unit next time. Next time, I'll buy one manufactured by someone else. ... show more

  • Good price Better aim
Big improvement over very poor gun sights on the Crosman Air Power 1377 Classic pistol. Eye piece focus, Cross hairs with windage and elevation adjustments

  • Its great for the money!
I wanted this for my Crossman 760 Pumpmaster BB rifle, because I couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with the sights that came with it. I actually was so disappointed in the rifle that I set it aside for a year and called it a lost cause. When I saw the reviews and more importantly the price of this scope, I decided to buy it and see if I could do any better with my Crossman. WOW! It was easy to sight in and now the rifle shoots dead on! I can hit a field mouse at 40 feet and have hit larger targets at 75. So if you need a great little scope for little money, and you take care of your rifle by not bumping it around or treating it rough (which you should never do with any gun that has a scope on it), you cant beat this little scope. ... show more
