    • Nice cherry finish…Nice price value…Not best for very heavy tvs
We purchased the Cambridge cherry version of the tv stand instead of the Alexandria cherry stand because we needed the 22” height vs. the 20” height. We purchased this stand THREE TIMES from one of the Home Improvement stores and THREE TIMES the stand was delivered with significant damage. This was due to poor transit handling combined with poor packaging by Crosley. The fourth; and final tv stand order; was placed through Amazon. This time, the tv stand was delivered with some minimal damage that a furniture stain repair kit easily covered up. The stand took about 2 hours or so to assemble with 2 people. There a two assembly steps that MUST be followed with care. First, the cam locks must not be over tightened because they are not high strength by design and will fracture if tightened too hard. Second, the installation of two glass doors require CAREFUL alignment of the top and bottom spring loaded hinge pins when placing the doors into the stand. It is very easy to accidently drop the hinge pins into other, nearby drilled screw holes. If this should happen (which it likely will), you will need to dissemble the stand in order to easily remove the spring loaded hinge pins and start over. Avoid such by taking your time to carefully slide the hinge pins into their proper holes. Take heed! You MUST install the right center and left center bottom support legs under the bottom of the stand to ensure the stand can support the weight of a 75 -100 lb. tv stand. Our 50” plasma tv easily weighs 100 lbs. If the two support legs are not installed, the stand’s top surface will surely deflect causing the stand’s left and right doors to impinge with the deflected top surface thereby not allowing the doors to fully close. Not a good thing! You may need to VERY SLIGHTLY turn lengthen out the two support legs without making the stand wobbly from the center. All in all, this tv stand has good looks, good size, good features, and value pricing for an MDF cherry vaneered assembly. One cannot expect solid wood construction and finish for the same low price as this tv stand. ... show more

This is a great entertainment center. We just had our first baby and needed something that was enclosed so that she couldn't play with all my electronics anymore. It looks very nice after it is fully assembled and we have had many complements on it. It did come with a few minor dents / scratches in the wood, but all but one of them are in areas where you wouldn't see them. Also, there isn't much ventilation with the doors closed though and I wouldn't recommend using this without modifying it or leaving the doors open while anything inside it is on. I had already planned on this and bought 3 large 120 mm computer fans that I put in the top corner of each of the 3 compartments. I also drilled some small holes in the bottom of each compartment near the front to act as air intakes. Then I bought a power adapter that was like a laptop power adapter except that it had a molex plug (standard PC power plug for fans, drives prior to sata, etc.) where the end that normally plugs into your laptop would be. I already owned a surge protector that was switched so that half of the outlets get turned on / off when I turn my receiver on and off. This allows the fans to turn on and off with my electronics. I also had to drill some holes between each of the 3 compartments and in the back of each shelf to allow me to run cables between the compartments / shelves without having to run them out the back and then back in. It would have been nice if at least this was done for you to save on the amount of drilling I had to do. Great value. Bought the black color and it looks great. Easy to assemble - just be careful when installing glass doors as ours had another hole next to hole where the spring-loaded pin/door hinge belongs and it got stuck. Recommend putting tape over “extra” hole to avoid accident. We added extra air holes because we have a lot of electronics. Measure your components and compare weight of your TV to specs. It took a little while to put it together but everything went along fine except at the very end for me to install one of the two doors and realized one of the door pin hinges was missing. I wrote them and within a week they sent me the part. The reason I give it an overall rating of four stars is that I'm not sure my big Onkyo receiver will fit in the tempered glass section in the middle, but that's not their fault. The rear panel is more heavy duty than say a brand I've had in the past with Sauder, where it was basically cardboard. The cherry finish actually fit well with my natural cherry wood tables. This is a well made and designed piece and I think the price was great. I can't afford real cherry wood as I was able to get 20 years ago. This was the next best solution, and I've seen other brands charge $600 and were similar. All said, it looks great beneath my 65" LG 4K HDTV. I put my old turntable on one side and placed a JBL soundbar on top (temporarily as I mount that on the wall as well). No complaints from me. I highly recommend it.
