I have had a croscill comforter on our bed for almost 20 years. I held my breath ordering one without seeing it in person. It did not disappoint. This one is absolutely gorgeous and is perfectly oversized for our king bed. I love the weight and the material is soft and luxurious. The beauty of this comforter is not captured in the pictures. It has rich burgundy, browns and gold tones and is breathtaking against my furniture. The price was amazing for this level of craftsmanship. My only wish is that euro shams were included. Absolutely love! The colors all work well together and it’s well made. Very comfortable and looks well beyond what I paid for it. The bag the set comes in is very nice. I was very surprised by the quality of the bed skirt. The design on it blends perfectly with the rest of the set.

This is an absolutely stunning comforter set. Even more beautiful in person. The gold/ burgundy contrast is amazing! The quality is excellent. The threading is tight and the underside is lined. It is a little thick and maybe heavier than some others, but will suit those who like sleeping in the cold. Ok, for warm weather with A.C. Very luxurious. Well worth the price! ... show more

20+ years ago I had a Croscill comforter and it was fantastic so ordering this one I knew what to expect quality wise and it did not disappoint! This is a high end comforter and not only is it beautiful but it’s warm and heavy as well. Even the bag it came in is elegant. The red is much deeper in color, more like a red burgundy but pictures seem to brighten it up. The other main colors are brown and a rich gold but it truly is a tapestry of warm tones. The only downside is it didn’t come with decorative pillows and I don’t really like the ones they show in the stock photos so I will be on the hunt for a few that will compliment it! ... show more

This comforter is much darker in person and far from the vibrant colors in the picture which I was hoping to receive, but the worse part is that it irritated my hands from handling it, perhaps the result of chemicals used at the factory, and I can’t wash it to mitigate this reaction because it is dry clean only.
