I'm a size 10.5 and I went with a 10. A bit just in length, but I can live with it. I like that the band is tight, because it's going to stretch out at some point. they’re comfy I didn’t get to wear them because they were a little too big they flopped around a little so I suggest getting a smaller size I wear 11 and usually 11 or snug on me but these were 11 and there was extra toe space but that might be good for some people

Because this item is for both men and women, it is going to be a little wider to fit a man's foot. I ordered the size 8 in black. I normally would wear a women's size 8 1/2 or 9, the size 8 was a good fit in the length and a little loose in the width. I wore them to the beach and the pool on my recent vacation and they stayed on my feet. I do wish they would make the women's shoe separate to fit a woman's foot.
