When I was younger man in the early 2000's when crocs first became available, I said that I would never wear them because they were so stupid looking. I was 39 then. By the time I was in my 50s I bought my first pair because people kept pounding on the comfort factor. They really were super comfortable but I wouldn't wear them where anyone could see me because I still was self conscious about how goofy they looked. I was a closeted crocs wearer lol Also, as much as Iiked them, they weren't perfect. The tread would wear quickly and get smooth spots that would slip easily on certain surfaces. Now I'm 60. I wear them almost all the time and I don't care who sees them. Lol one of the benefits of getting older is you care a lot less about what people think. Also, today's crocs are better than ever. I get the "outback" and "all terrain" models now. I believe that the outbacks are discontinued and the all terrain is the newer version. They are very similar and both are amazing. The difference between the regular crocs and these were that the tread was made firmer and had a different pattern and much better suited for outdoor use in varying locations. They also have an adjustable velcro heel strap that regular crocs don't have which makes them fit and feel much more secure on your feet. I'm a heavy guy and the stiffer material holds up better and the treads now have rubber inserts in strategic places where the tread formerly was prone to wearing quickly and they really help solve that problem and also make them feel more secure where floors tend to get slick sometimes. They really are as comfortable as people have told you , they are great for lots of situations, like gardening, camping,, boating, (they float) walking your pet, getting the mail, etc. Super easy to clean. You can garden in them and hose off the mud and they are clean and dry the next day. If you haven't tried them you really are missing out on ultimate comfort, silly looking or not! 😊

I like the comfort and handiness if these Crocs. Adjustable strap is helpful. If I knew they were wide, I would get half size smaller. But they are still good although a little loose for me.

I have been using it daily for a while now and pressing the button just for keeping the battery active, and it lasts long. I haven’t tested with water from streams yet, which will be required on long hikes I am planning in a couple of weeks. It is a wee bit smaller than I would prefer, but it is still good value for the price

Got these for the brother. I bought them in black. Looks great! The fit for the size was perfect. Not much arch support. And I love that they are breathable, it helps his feet. Great price too!

After 2 kids my foot shape changed and I gave crocs a chance during some long runs. Worn with toe socks and anti- chafe ointment they did not give blisters during long runs in training. I felt my only blister at mile 53 and I was not concerned about my ability to finish the race at that point. I got one thorn that I was able to pull out immediately with tweezers in my pack. I was able to remove crocs and shake out sand and rocks at aide stations. All terrain crocs have adjustable straps and more solid, grippy sole. I found them to be a tripping hazard while running faster paces (in practice) but this race had me hiking quite a bit. I sized have a size up from my normal 7 to 8 to accommodate for toe swelling while running longer distances. 7/10 stars as they don’t protect from thorns and mostly work for slower paces. If you struggled with blisters this may be a viable option as they are very affordable to try in comparison to other running shoes.

First try was too large for me, in the size I usually wear. They are wide. I got the next size smaller, which was still long enough to not crush my toes, and fit better width-wise. With the heel strap in place they feel pretty secure. I find the adjustable strap quite comfortable, and it is only a tiny bit more difficult to get the shoes on and off--can still do that with my hands full, without bending over, etc, which is the main reason I want this type of shoe. The sole seems more rugged, with more secure traction, than with other brands I've had. The return process to get the right size was very easy, of course.
