My neighbor hated me until I bought this packet of black vinyl covering. They’d give me the side eye, the death stare and smug looks as I walked by, saw them in the local market or was driving home from work. I had pains in my limbs, got dumped by my girlfriend and was an all around unlucky guy. I soon noticed the neighbor was smiling again, looking at me straight, I no longer felt pricks and pains and my girlfriend took me back, out of the blue. I asked my neighbor what happened and they said they stopped using their voodoo doll and called off the hex they sent me after I bought this roll of vinyl to cover up an outdoor lamp that was shining towards their living room window each night. I cut the vinyl to fit the glass covering on the lamp and now the light shines down towards the ground without shining in their window and bothering their nightly binge watching sessions. I have the Cricut Joy and I like to alternate between the Smart Vinyl and Premium Vinyl. What I love about this is the amount of material you get for the price. I like to always get permanent because I want the crafts I make to have a longer span. The adhesion is great, it’s easy to use, weeding is simple, and with the right kind of transfer tape it’s easy to remove from the backing. Overall, I like it! :-) ... show more

On a drunken Saturday while my best friend and I were crafting, we ran out of yellow vinyl (gasp….). So what’s a girl to do? We get on Amazon and find some more (neither of us in any condition to drive, this was the best option because we would not remember we needed yellow) Needless to say, I ordered a used product, wasn’t paying much mind to that though as I’ve ordered used plenty before and had almost new issue. This brings me to today…. Item arrives, it’s packaged neatly in the original packaging. Item top is popped off, everything seems to be ok…. Item is dumped over - PLOP, PLOP, PLOP - here comes Zuma to save the day! Thank goodness, who else other than the one and only Paw Patrol favorite, Zuma, to protect me from the impending danger of the dinosaurs. One by one, they came crashing out of the tube like it was about the be the end. Jaw was dropped in shock at this point. There is a litter of dinosaurs covered in what I am hoping is animal hair (it’s definitely not my animals - but it’s someone’s/something’s hair from somewhere other than my own home) …. Big dinosaurs, little dinosaurs, brown dinosaurs, green dinosaurs… dinosaur after dinosaur. Just when I thought the free fall was over there was something else, something stuck, something tighter than the rest….. It was the Easter bunny! That’s correct folks, the flipping Easter bunny! Of all things; I ended my day with One Paw Patrol zuma, 8 tiny dinosaurs and the Easter bunny… oh and my yellow cricut vinyl that was only slightly crinkled, but generally in good shape.     • This sucks to work with. I thought I was upgrading but this is a nightmare.

I had been buying Oracal matte white vinyl prior to this because it was cheaper. I have cut hundreds of feet of the same exact project over and over. It was going okay but it was a bit difficult to weed and it stuck to the backing a lot compared to another brand Vinyl ease (in black) (i haven't tried their white yet). I figured I would try the authentic cricut vinyl, it must be better anyway right? NO NOT AT ALL! First off, the title and description NEEDS to say it is a high gloss! This is SO shiny. I bought this kinda quickly. I would have had to read all customer questions or reviews to find this out. Second, this stuff sticks to the mat like a vacuum, but that is NOT what you want! I am using a well used standard grip mat that I just had to clean off with soap and water because it was so worn out and dust covered it had no tack left. After cleaning It still has some tack to it but nothing like when new. The Oracal vinyl stuck to it just enough to be cut-able. The next day I put this new cricut stuff on there and it sticks to it like super glue was painted all over it. It like static clings to it so hard it makes HUGE air bubbles several inches wide EVERYWHERE in that the only option is to push them all out, which makes the vinyl stick even harder to the mat. Why is this an issue? You can't pull it off! It wants to stay on there to the point it starts to crease the vinyl and start delaminating the vinyl from the backing, which damages the cut design and ripples the vinyl making a clean transfer impossible. As for cutting, I used to use "light pressure" with the Oracal vinyl, that didn't really cut this very well. Ok thats fine, so switched to default pressure, and it didn't cut it any better. It isn't a cutter head issue because like i said the sheet before it was cut just fine on the other brand. I didn't try the hardest setting, i was already fed up with the rest of the issues. I can't rate how well it sticks to your project, I couldn't even get that far. I have hundreds of feet of experience with other brands and colors so it isn't me. Though I understand that is hard to believe considering all the positive reviews. I just gave up on this. After trying to cut twice with it I have wasted 3 feet of it and who knows if I can return this properly now. PROS: it wouldn't be fair to not rate the good, since you will think I am just hating. It feels like good quality, and unlike the cheap rolls, when you unroll it, it actually lays flat on its own which is super cool. At least the beginning of the roll did, can't speak towards the end. The cheaper brand vinyl always winds back up which is a pain in the butt and you have to bend it backwards to get it to stay on the mat once you get to the end of the roll. So where are all these rave reviews coming from? i don't get it. ... show more

Used this vinyl on specialty mugs I made for co-workers. The mugs have been washed many many times and they still look new. The vinyl was so easy to use with my silhouette. I will be using it to making more gifts very soon.

Don't be fooled by the description...it is not 12" x 360" like it states. I ordered this and the black they both state that size in the product description and the rolls i received are 12" x 120".

This was great at first. Adheres easily, stays on for a while. But the farther I got into the roll, the worse it seemed to get. It melts easily and I’m using the same iron, same heat setting and same time. I can see through the vinyl almost in the last couple projects that I’ve done. I don’t know what the reason for this is, it seems like it’s the quality of the vinyl. I like being able to buy this in bulk so I’m disappointed that it isn’t as good as what I can buy in the store. ... show more
