When I first began reading I thought the editor/proofreader missed a few things. Then, as I proceeded into more of the book it became quite evident that there had been no editor or proofreader. In fact, unless I just missed it completely, there was no listed publisher. I bought the book to see what I could learn about using the Cricut Joy I am intending to purchase. Seems that, based on this book, I will be better off using trial and error on my own. I would not recommend this book to any one. It was, to my mind, a waste of my money. If this is considered inappropriate and Amazon spikes it, so be it. It would be a disservice to others who might be interested in purchasing this poorly written piece. I gave it one star just because, well, it took nerve to publish it. ... show more

The book claims to be an illustrated guide...the only illustrations are tiny black and white pictures that look like clip art from the 90’s and there are only about 5 give or take a few. The book is in large font and words are double sometimes triple spaced. I felt as if I was reading a book written by and meant for a third grade child in beginning typing class. I like the product and can see lots of possibilities for cards and other crafts. However for a beginner the directions are way to difficult to understand.
