I follow Jennifer Maker for lots of Cricut How To videos and was excited when she released the Cricut Coach Playbook. I originally downloaded the digital version but didn't like using it because I run my Cricut off of an iPad and toggling between the digital book and Design Space was annoying to me. I like being able to have the book right there opened to the instructions I need so I can leave the iPad in the software mode to work. I also like that she has included a ton of basic as well as advanced instructions and the book is color coded for the specific medium you are working on such as: PC, iPhone, Mac, iPad, etc. It makes a difference having these instructions because Design Space is slightly different depending upon where you're designing from. It's a great, organized and easy-to-use reference book that I would recommend for anyone who has bought a Cricut and then immediately become frustrated...which, as I am learning, is pretty much everyone. ... show more

Yes it's a great book! Jennifer is an amazing teacher for all-things Cricut. However, the book arrived damaged from shipping. I ordered NEW so it would be in great condition. Although the inside is clearly readable, there's a big "bend" in the book cover and it looks crappy. It does not lay flat or stand up straight. I'm disappointed. ... show more

None of the information in this book is new or hard to find, you can get all of these tips in Jennifer Maker's video tutorials on YouTube -BUT - if you're like me, and hate clicking back and forth between the video tutorials and your Design Space app over and over: This book is for you. Whether you feel like spending the money on the book or not, you should *absolutely* go to YouTube and check out Jennifer Maker's Cricut tutorials. She has hundreds of beautiful designs, fonts and files, and all are available for free on her website. Not only that, but the quality of her instruction is top notch.
