This tool is necessary if you have a Cricut machine and are using a mat for your vinyl. If you want the best deal on the Cricut brand brayer, order from Amazon. Cheaper than what you would pay for it at Michaels or Joann's.

Item as described. Wish I had purchased one of these a long time ago it would have saved a lot of headaches. Much easier to apply transfer tape, makes weeding easier, apply your vinyl to your mats with ease and bubble free. Wish I bough it from the beginning.

    • A Must Have!
After doing a lot of research, I finally broke down and bought a Cricut, but found when researching I likely wouldn't need or use all the tools in the Cricut tool set so opted for only 3 tools I thought I would need and bought them separately. This brayer was one and IMO is a must have . Not only does it ensure firm adhesion of the vinyl to the mat, it will actually extend the life of the mat (this info found in my research). The quality of this brayer is really good. It's durable and comfortable to hold and easy to easy to use - much more so than even the XL scraper. I think the price is a bit high, but hey, it's got that name brand on the handle and it is the prettiest one out there (believe me, I looked at all of them). If you're going for Cricut tool must haves, this tops my list because you can get other needed tools cheaper or even at the dollar store - dollar store pin pickers are excellent for weeding, BTW. I haven't even used the Cricut weeder I bought. Put this at the top of your list for needed tools. ... show more
