For a first time trier at linocut this was a perfect set. It had everything I needed to trace, carve and stamp. the tools aren’t amazing so don’t expect to get incredibly detailed images but it’s excellent for an introduction to the craft and I was able to create some fun pictures ! It’s easy to use but be careful when learning to carve and watch your fingers because the pointy end of the instrument is sharp! I’d clean the ink up immediately after use because it’s hard to clean after it dries (whoops)! Overall I feel the money I paid was worth the items that came in the kit and it’s given me more of a desire to do more detailed work with finer tools in the future !

This was a great beginner linocut kit and had everything I needed to get started with printmaking. The tools and materials worked well, and I was able to make several prints without any issues. While the components aren’t professional-grade quality, they’re perfectly suitable for learning the process and enjoying the hobby. If you’re just getting into linocut printing and want an affordable all-in-one kit, I think this is a solid choice.

Great starter kit! I am constantly wanting to try new ways to create, and this kit was perfect for giving me the chance to try linocut printmaking! It was cheap enough to not stress about the price if it wasn't something I wanted to continue, but also had enough included that when I decided to keep at it, I didn't have to immediately get a bigger kit. And I LOVE that you can store all of the cutting tips right in the handle of the cutting tool. Really helpful for both storage, and keeping them out of the hands of the kids! I plan to use these to print on totes and pencil cases to sell alongside my Artwork and prints! Highly recommend this kit. I also bought a pack of 2"x2" rubbers to test on separately (before using the larger pieces provided by this kit)

Most of this is perfect for someone experimenting with a new medium: The Lino mats are a lovely quality, the ink is easy to wash, The brayer, though, falls apart with every use. Like the axle won’t stay put. It’s not rubbery, so ink distribution is inconsistent. Overall meh. Great for kids but not for real art.

this is so easy and fun! I spent all weekend making stamps it was super quick to learn I only made 1 backwards stamp and it was an easy fix with tracing paper!
