So I’m give a detailed review first off the pool stick is beautiful goes together great and was straight I was worried because of other comments but mine was straight and feels perfect the tip was nicely done as well the weight which isn’t shared on here much without the weighted bolt in the but it’s 514g which is 18.131oz and with the weighted bolt it’s 544g which is 19.189 oz which is great for someone new to pool because you can get the sturdiness of a 19oz to learn and take out the bolt to get 18oz which is great for the finesse it’s a beautiful stick feels great and personal for the price your not going to get a better cue and the fact it’s made in the same factory as more expensive cues is a added pro to it it’s full carbon fiber and you can see it definitely worth the price I did the C01 ... show more

I ordered the CL01 cue set 2. I got everything shown in the stock photo : --- Carbon shaft + cue butt, with joint protectors. --- 1x1 cue case, a nice surprise because it's a hard case with a soft exterior pouch, and a shoulder strap. --- 4 weight bolts. There is another weight bolt (smallest in photo attached) came installed in the cue, making a total of 5. --- Cue Extension. The thread is slightly different from the stock photo. It's has less threads = less time needed to switch around. Now for the review: Cue plays very well. Joint was smooth and seamless, this is very important to me because I've caught my beard with cues that have less than perfect joints and it HURT. The paint and finish job looks better than those stock photo. The tip is multi layered leather. It's medium hard, leaning towards hard. Rolls straight, no surprise here. And it's carbon so it should stay this way for years to come. Shaft : NOT Pro Taper. Since it' has a 12.5mm tip the increase in shaft diameter is not that steep compared to a snooker cue. Not a huge deal breaker for me but I figure I should mention this here since this might be important to somebody. One thing that was not mentioned here was the weight. Probably because it varies and they don't want people crying about it's off by 0.25 oz. I weighted mine, and here is my result : Shaft = 3.88 oz Butt (with factory installed weight bolt removed) = 14.46 oz. Factory installed weight bolt = 0.60 oz. (4) included weight bolts = 1.23 oz. ; 1.83 oz. ; 2.47 oz. and 3.03 oz. Cue extension : 3.28 oz. Conclusion : This is a decent choice for people starting out. The set has plenty of things for you to explore with and learn from. You are not getting AAAAAA graded maple, or any exotic wood, abalone shell, gold, ........ You are getting a decent playing cue with all the essential accessories. With it's hard leather tip and the biggest weight bolt, you can probably use it as a break cue when you are ready to upgrade from this later, or keep this as a spare cue, or take it to the bar with all the greasy food (carbon wipes clean easily). At this price, I would be really pissed if it gets stolen, but at least I won't be crying. ... show more

Nice combination set. Cue feels great. Had my buddy tested out as well. Never shot with full graphite before getting used to that only thing is that I wish the cleaning cloth was not pink. Oh, and our great price great product I would recommend.

It’s a nice stick, nothing special. Very light… I like a 20 or 21 oz stick but I guess you just get what they send you….. so that being said, I don’t recommend this stick for the simple fact of its weight. Update: to obtain the weight you might like you need to add weight bolts to your order for another $20+. I didn’t like the stick that much to pay another $20 for weights that may or may not satisfy me enough to change my review. Again, it’s just a bar room pool stick. Update: CRICAL customer service was great. CRICAL sent me weight bolts for this cue stick that made a tremendous difference in its performance. I like a heavier cue. That being said, if you like a light stick it’s perfect right out of the box, but for me I prefer a heavier cue. CRICAL does have weight bolts to go with their cues, sold separately, so keep that in mind. ... show more

After two months of daily use, I can honestly say this is a great cue at a impossible bargain price. Very low deflection, excellent finish and feel, proper weight, wonderful tip. It's by no means a flashy cue, but it has nice detail. The handle is finished with some pin striping and a carbon fiber under gloss. The shaft is mat, very smooth and a nice Pro taper. This is easily a $500 cue. I could not be happier. My game is now 'no excuses'. Even if you are a beginner looking for a first or second cue, buy this and you will have enough cue to last you for years to come. ... show more
