Description

Cribbage is a card game for two players. Described by some as 'a game of low, animal cunning', it demands skill, experience, craftiness and luck to win. The role of chance is such that even a novice can beat a seasoned player over one or two games, yet over a longer period skill, experience and thoughtful play will inevitably win out. The scope for tricks, traps, stratagems, forward planning, playing the percentages, and sheer blind luck makes it a fascinating and involving game at every level of play. In this booklet you will learn the basics of the game, and a selection of strategies With time you may become “the seasoned pro” Read more

above beginner mode, the format seems to favor the opposition pretty heavy with a lot of one sided scoring combinations. kills time, but not all that fair.

  • Good primer for beginners
This book is very useful for a good explanation of the basics with a bit of strategy. Was hoping for more strategy by experience is the best teacher. Good chart for all available hands, also.

  • Average
Some grammatical and spelling errors. Some ambiguities, especially in 3-hand play explanation. Quick read for experienced players, but unexplained jargon make some parts uphill for beginners.

  • Nice pamphlet like publication
Clear summary of rules. Little strategy. Layout in kindle leaves something to be desired. Has rules for playing w three and five players
