I used an F1 in Hawaii and it functioned great for me. I did specifically buy one with a black skirt and this was MUCH better than the same mask with a clear skirt (too much extraneous light). I did have small amounts of water intrusion, but this cleared easily with just a lift & small exhale. It was easy to flood slightly to clear fog. I have several snorkel masks. Normally they hurt my face or don’t form well enough to stop leaking. This Cressi frameless mask fits my narrow man face. I took it on a cruise recently and used it in the Bahamas and Haiti. It worked great. I did scrub it out with toothpaste first and put a defogger on it before each swim, and it worked great. Good quality, the strap is of thick silicon material, very comfortable, hold the water very well, no seepage in the mask, easy equalizing and decent view angle. Sits close to the eyes but not too much.

This mask is highly recommended in a few best masks of 2022 lists online. It fits my face well, seals perfectly with not a lot of tension on the strap and has a great field of view. Like any new mask it will fog like crazy until you remove the protective silicone layer from the inside glass. This can be done with toothpaste or by burning it off with a lighter. Get some no-tears baby shampoo and use it as anti fog on the inside glass when you dive. Google how to do these processes and you will enjoy much less fogging. ... show more
