Scent: Spice & Black Vanilla
I found this cologne light and citrusy fresh rather than spicy. I can't detect any vanilla notes, which is disappointing, but neither do I notice tobacco. The bergamot seems to dominate here. I wanted a more spicy and sweet vanilla scent but this isn't it. It's appropriate for any gender but I feel it's best for summer and spring wear. The longevity is short. On me, it lasted maybe an hour. I did eventually layer it over Flowerbomb EDP and it added a pleasant freshness to that fragrance which was badly needed. Scent: Blue Cedar & Cypress
Okay, so, I'm not some crazy cologne aficionado. I have worn the same scents for a few years now from two very specific big brand fragrance suppliers. I figured it was time to spice it up (literally) with a new cologne and see how I liked it. Admittedly, I am a bit of a "cheapstake", so I was not willing to fork out a pretty penny for some cologne I wasn't absolutely, 100% sure I was going to love and identify with. That being said, when I saw the VERY affordable price point of this cologne, that sealed the deal for me in terms of buying it without knowing yet whether I loved it. I'm very particular about smells and especially what I like to smell like, and one of those smells is "woodsy". I have always absolutely loved the smell of the forest and wished they could capture that exact smell of a camping trip on the Appalachia into a bottle of cologne. Well, this comes pretty close to capturing that fresh and woodsy scent I yearned for! There is a bit of spiciness to it that I find overbearing up front, but once it aerates, the scent settles into a spiciness that is JUST right, amongst refreshing but masculine notes of light woods. In my typical day, wearing my usual cologne, I will get a compliment maybe once a week IF I'm interacting with new people. I added a few spritzes of the Blue Cedar and Cypress on top of my usual cologne and had THREE people that I already know tell me I smelled amazing. Actually, the woman I had an interest in in the workplace walked by me, stopped, came back and inhaled deeply and told me, "You smell *incredible"." And then gave another sniff for good measure. So if that doesn't tell you how good this cologne is, I don't know what will. Get it, fellas, ladies, and enby friends. You will NOT be disappointed. Scent: Spice & Black Vanilla
I tried this for the first time at a friend's house and had to order some. It's a somewhat androgynous scent, a little sweet, spicy, and warm yet clean. I wish it had a longer lasting scent, as I do have to reapply it after a few hours. For the price, I'm very happy with it and will need to order more soon. ... show more
