This is a gorgeous urn. With several people in the family planning cremation as a final disposition of their earthly remains, this seemed like an excellent opportunity to acquire one when it was offered in the Vine program. I am hoping that it will be a number of years yet before it gets put to its ultimate use as a repository for ashes, but in the short term, it is absolutely beautiful and decorative. The included velvet bag is a nice touch and gives you some sense of protection as you transport the urn. Although, to some it may seem a bit morbid, those of my family are practical, and have a dark sense of humor as well, so I will be offering it for use to the first of my family that has need of it for its intended purpose.

This urn is very beautiful in person with the scrolling details and the blue gray color which matches the color of my sisters' eyes. I could never say if they were more blue or grayer, much like this work of art. They quality and care that went into this is evident. It is very sturdy but not too heavy. I had no problem opening it and securing it back in place. There was plenty of room inside and it looks beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something not overstated but elegant.

My Mother-In-Law's ashes were shipped to my wife from Germany in a plain black Urn, my wife was not at all pleased when it arrived. Mother-in-law has been moved to a much nicer resting place and now sets out on display.

My wife and I have been looking for a nice Urn for our loved ones ashes. Going to several funeral homes was not helpful at all in our opinion. The pressure sales and mark up on them are quite unreal. Seeing this one at such an affordable price we didn't have our hopes to high on what we would get but needed something until we found what we wanted. This arrived very tastefully packaged with a very nice card thanking us for our business. It was well protected/package to prevent damage of any type. This urn rivals most of the ones we have seen for multiple times the price. It is classy and elegant giving you comfort in knowing your loved ones ashes are safe and in a wonderful place. Although it is aluminum it really has the appearance of porcelain with a very beautiful blue/grey marble look about it. The silver trim has a design in it that adds to the beauty of this urn. This would be a 10 out of 10 that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of an urn.

This urn is large for an adult size ashes. The metal inlay is very well done and precise. It is lightweight, but has a very good sturdy base. The lid screws on and remain secure. The quality is excellent. The color is on the purple side of the blue. Spectrum. I have placed a purple soda cans next to the urn so you can see the color shade difference. This is beautiful and we would recommend.

The media could not be loaded. It is an elegant piece with hand engraving details and it looks to be coated in high gloss epoxy or gel coat. Some of the carving didn't get filled with black and it shows under close inspection. There are 3 threads on the lid and base, so it only takes 1-3/4 turns to get tight. A couple of turns more would seem more secure. Looking inside you can see the base is made from 2 cast aluminum halves tack welded together. The lid is also cast aluminum. I think it's a nice piece and good value. Certainly better than cardboard, or spending a fortune at a funeral home.
