There is barely any smell. I've bought Creed for years (this is not my first bottle), and this one is not the real thing. The first... maybe 2 sprays were intense... but after that, nothing. I asked a friend to smell my neck at the gym, he said he didn't smell anything... I had 4 sprays on!

I've been wearing Aventus for 15 years. This is the first time I have purchased online. It's interesting. I don't know if it's the batch number r if quality has gone down (or if god forbid this is a really good fake), but this one is significantly lighter than every bottle I have purchased in-store in the past. The fragrance is still superb but the longevity seems to be lacking (6 hours tops for me). I know that every batch is slightly different. But, every (previous)batch has had staying power. I'm not gonna cry foul, but part of me thinks maybe I legitimately could. In any event, the scent is excellent. Just don't expect it to last more than 4-6 hours. I don't see a "seller" listed. Who is the seller? Has this been sitting in the Amazon warehouse? Has the authenticity been verified by Amazon? I think Amazon needs to answer these questions.
