This is the best men's cologne on the market. I've gotten so many girls ask me what I'm wearing and EVERY waitress that has come close to me while serving my food has given me a hug and told me I smell good (my wife's not really happy about that though). It's worth every penny.

I've been wearing Aventus for 15 years. This is the first time I have purchased online. It's interesting. I don't know if it's the batch number r if quality has gone down (or if god forbid this is a really good fake), but this one is significantly lighter than every bottle I have purchased in-store in the past. The fragrance is still superb but the longevity seems to be lacking (6 hours tops for me). I know that every batch is slightly different. But, every (previous)batch has had staying power. I'm not gonna cry foul, but part of me thinks maybe I legitimately could. In any event, the scent is excellent. Just don't expect it to last more than 4-6 hours. I don't see a "seller" listed. Who is the seller? Has this been sitting in the Amazon warehouse? Has the authenticity been verified by Amazon? I think Amazon needs to answer these questions.
