  • Just what I needed...
Color: Distressed Zinc
I had this in my cart for a long time but never found anything better. I wanted something that had a French/vintage look to it. I have it on my screened porch. I keep it out of the rain. I gave it 4 stars because there are some marks on the top that I can't get off, but it's okay because I keep a runner or other things on it. ... show more

  • Over priced for the quality
Color: Antiqued White
This table was so very charming when it was on the Magnolia website, but — trust the reviews — it looks better in photos than it does in person. Had I put mine together first, I wouldn’t have sent two as gifts. Wait for a sale, because, for the quality, they are overpriced at full price. The assembly instructions were drawings rather than written words. Nonetheless, it was easy to assemble and came complete with allen wrench, a double ended wrench to tighten the screws and zip-tie straps to attach the unit to a wall in order to prevent toppling of the table, should, say, a child try to climb on it. Nice touch. It would work well in a potting shed or garden room. ... show more

  • If I had seen this in a store, I wouldn't have bought it
Color: Distressed Zinc
Like many, I saw this table on Fixer Upper and loved it. Sadly, it looks WAY better on TV than it does in person. Honestly, it's a $200 table so I wasn't expecting fine furniture but I was expecting something a bit nicer than what I got. The directions to assemble might as well be non existent but you can figure it out. The screws & nuts work okay but as many have said, the top does not come with pre-drilled holes so it's a challenge. Why the rest is predrilled but the top is not, makes no sense. In my case, I might have benefited from it because I also didn't like the finished top so I flipped it over and used the unfinished side. Had there been predrilled holes on the wooden top, I wouldn't have been able to do this. It was very hard to screw the top on so I ended up hammering many of the screws Just speaks to to the quality of what we're dealing with. The varnish on the fake wrought iron legs looks REALLY CHEAP. Out of the box, there was a nasty oder and there's a sticky substance---likely the varnish which is difficult to remove from my hands so I will need to sand it. The really annoying thing is that the top has a pretty big gash (see pic) . The box was not damaged in anyway so clearly it happened prior to packaging. I'm sure I'll have to buy some wood stain and hope for the best From a distance it looks okay but it's not what I was expecting. As the title says, had I come across this table in a store, I wouldn't have bought it. It looks like it should cost about $30-$40 and not over $200. ... show more

  • Great table!
Color: Distressed Zinc
Okay, so the holes all lined up; however, you do have to mark, pre-drill holes, and screw the top in yourself. No problem for me at all. Here are some tips for making sure the table is square and level when you are finished: Connect all the metal pieces as shown, but do not tighten them. Lay the wood topper face down on carpet or something that will protect it, flip the body of the table upside down and line the legs up so they are square to the top. This should also level the legs. After you see the legs are square to the top, mark the holes with a pen or pencil. Take the body off the topper, pre-drill the screw holes, then screw the body into the top. Flip the whole table right side up, THEN tighten all the screws on the body. Took us 3 tries to level and square the body to the top before we found that to be the best way to make sure the table is square and level. We love the table. It was exactly what we were looking for. Having to do the drilling deducted a star, but I would buy this table again. We are thankful there were no issues with the alignment of the holes that were already there for the legs. ... show more

  • Sweet addition to a cottage or farmhouse home.
Color: Distressed Zinc
The table is cute enough, but I had to modify the top just a bit. The engineered wood top was not as rustic looking as the galvanized metal skirt. I took a bit of sand paper to it and it looks much better now. Also, while I assembled it in about 3o minutes, I found the instructions lacking. No written instructions, just pics. Didn't quite know where the holes were to screw the top on. All and all, it looks great in my farmhouse style home. ... show more
