This is a great book if you have someone who loves to create! My 8 year old loves making his own comics and he has used up almost all the pages already! My daughter would draw comics on sticky notes. This is a great book to keep all those doodles in one place and spark the beginning of a creative story.

    • simple idea, great for kids
My 9 year old son loves to draw his own comics. This book was perfect for him. Very simple idea but works great. Could leave all comic pages in the book or, as we did, cut them out to put into a bigger binder with page protectors for each page for a longer, continuous storyline.

    • Nephew Loved It....But Be Aware...
My nephew is a little artist and he loves making his own books. This book was a huge hit! He absolutely loved it and immediately started drawing in it. But be aware....the pages are too thin to use marker. My nephew used washable markers on the first page and it bled through to the next 2 pages. This made the back side of each page un-usable. I recommend maybe colored pencils instead. The idea of the book is great...but I wish the pages were thicker and better quality so you don't have to worry so much about the back side of each page. ... show more

We have purchased 2 of these for ourselves so far. Our 7 year old son would just sit with his breakfast and complete so many pages. After a month or 2 of dedicated work he completed the entire book and brought to school for his "share" item. He was so proud of himself! This is a great gift idea as well too. Husband and granddaughter love this, they drew in it for a few hours, and love the idea of drawing their own comic. My husband is an artist, he was taken for surprise when he opened it, and wished they were available when he was younger.
