This thing is awesome. I used acrylic paint on it and sealed it with Mod Podge finishing spray, and it turned out so great. I did run short on cards, however. It comes with 70 total, so it’s not a small amount. But for my purposes, I needed much more, so it would be nice if they sold extra cards separately. But I definitely recommend this. ... show more

Over all this was exactly what I wanted.. only thing I would of liked better is if the board and cards were matte finish and not glossy. Took A LOT of coats of paint to get it to look right. Very glad is came with everything that it did too.

My autistic 12yo bought this with his own money because he wanted to design his own board game, but didn't have the fine motor skills to craft the actual pieces. I love the variety of the included pieces and the fact that they're ACTUALLY real game pieces, like you'd buy an actual game from the store. My only complaint is that the surfaces are a bit too glossy for standard craft supplies (pencils, crayons, and markers). We found that fine point Sharpies worked, but it needs time to dry before touching. Otherwise this is a wonderful craft toy for an older kid. ... show more
