Literally hang the bracket, slide the laser head on, and plug the falcon controller into the laser and X Y steppers and limit switches. Couldn't be much happier. Took longer to figure out using lightburn than installing the laser.

Blasts through 5mm basswood and will hard-etch stainless if you crank it all the way up. Not bad for a 5W optical output.
