  • Nice 3d printer for beginners
I had lots of issues before I read a few articles on leveling your bed. The auto bed leveler was ok, but I had to struggle to remember what I raised and what was lowered (too impatient to write things down). I highly recommend a rasp pi and Octoprint. Now that the bed is level I have been printing fairly consistent prints. The product itself is well built using good components. The only real issue is how sensitive the device is to heat changes. It will crash before it lets you got into thermal overload and burn something out, it will also crash for thermal overload if the bed or head temp changes too quickly which is a good bit. Kinda frustrating, but better than burning the components. It will also crash if you move from one menu to another if it has not finished what it is doing and will forget settings if it crashes. Make sure it is printing before you walk away. Read a few beginner articles before starting. Overall I am pretty happy with the purchase. I feel like my sore points will go away as the firmware matures. ... show more

  • Buy a different brand. Not worth the headache. No Customer support
The leveling bed on this machine is about as good as leveling on a ocean floor. the bed is so twisted and the auto leveling is a joke. i have gone thru several heat plates cause the machine likes to dig into the plate every now and then. the worst is that creality support or lack of support is really a kicker. my first machine and i talked myself out of another brand, lesson learned. Make sure to up grade software right away and be prepared to do alot of self troubleshooting cause tech support is just not there. I have a regular job where i cant just call at any time and when i have tried calling the hold times are far to long for me to sit at my job on the phone waiting for tech support. BTW,they have never responded to any emails regarding the problems i have had from the very beginning when assembling the unit. ... show more

  • Horribly print quality.
Setup the printer and noticed the auto bed leveling didn't adjust rite kinda like my s1 pro. The printer would never have anything stick do to half of the table being suspended in the air and not really stable for 200mms printing speed. Even at 100 I was having really bad bed adhesion and stringing if it did print. The bed level constantly changed it seemed. So nothing ever could print flawlessly. Don't recommend for beginners specially for 600. ... show more

  • DOA - Unuseable
This is a great printer on paper - but they are shipping defective units that cannot print reliably. There is a problem with the auto-leveling and Z-offset. I have used 3D printers for almost 10 years and I've never seen anything like this. I've spent hundreds of hours tweaking the machine to get good parts, but I've given up and am now trying to return the printer. There are several discussions on Reddit about the problems with this machine and everyone is having the same problem. It seems they shipped this model before debugging everything. Now there appear to be two versions on the market if you look at the latest firmware. One version is for the Z-axis limit switch and the other is for ??? ... show more
