The only reason I gave this a three star rating was after three prints the extruder fan in the back had to be replaced. It's a little different from my svo-1 but once you figure it out it is ok. Also after the first print I had to start using hair spray to make the model stick. All and all I am happy so far that I bought it. ... show more

  • Good printer for abs and PC materials
This is my second Creality printer. Works great. Only issue I had with the packaging. The touch screen came cracked. it is still useable but I contacted Creality and they are sending me a replacement screen.

  • Great printer untill you need parts
I had to change the ptft tube and it uses a specific clip that no one sells. I contacted Creality they were more concerned about where I bout it than the fact I just needed to buy a part. Don’t buy this printer because there is no aftermarket support for the ptft tube clip that goes to the hot end

  • Great printer overall, but creality support sucks
Very good printer with somethings to consider. How do I slice files for this? You use the same cura profile as ender 3 pro the same file sliced for ender 3 pro works perfectly on this machine your welcome. Generally a good machine, basicly a prettier ender 3 dressed up as an ultimaker for holoween. Looks like plastic but metal where it counts. The good 1. It's about 95% as good as my ender 3 pro stock with pla. 2.With ABS works very well was about 90% as good as stock ender 3 pro in the creality tent. Changed to new nozzle now just as good. 3. If you upgrade hot end and buy a 30$ space heater on Amazon then stick a Styrofoam cooler over the lid you will have a 50c heated chamber and prints pc, and nylon. 4. Overall with this printer I'm very pleased can print at 120mm with no decrease in print quality The bad Beware The latches that hold the glass bed in place do not work as soon as bed is heated over 60c they come loose and the whole glass bed slides around so always use binderclips with this one. Not enough clearance between latch and nozzle see photo When I first got it it would not home or move the X axis. Turns out wires were not connected so if you get it and it's just not working right open up the bottom and check that wires and stuff aren't loose very easy to work on though only two phillips screws and big open easy access to the board and fans for maintenence. I have sent many many emails to creality customer support. A Month has gone by with no reply to literly a hundred emails from different accounts just trying to get a response to the question how do I slice for this?. If they do reply to you rarely if ever They have never answered any of my questions and just sent me links to buy more printers. Scum of the earth support. I figured out the slicing by accident. As far as support from creality goes You are on your own. It is only EVER worth buying their printers on Amazon because while they are great machines you would be out a lot of money without Amazon on Your side. No info as of the time of writing this on bltouch firmware and bc this is a new product it lacks the community that the ender 3 has. This would be a five star printer if it wasn't for crealitys lack of customer support. ... show more

  • Great printer at the price point... Only one concern
Love this printer! My first printer without auto bed leveling and this printer couldn't have made it easier and more intuitive. I have been using Prusaslicer due to it have a profile for this printer already, I thought I would move to Cura once a profile was made in Cura but to be honest Prusaslicer is amazing. Definitely a great printer for beginners. Check around for prices, at this date (12/4/2021) I see Walmart has it on sale for $218 which is absolutely worth the price for this machine. With that said, I do worry spare parts may not be as easy to come buy if something were to go wrong, fingers crossed it's just because this is a relatively new product and we will start to see replacement OEM parts in the future. If that happens it would definitely be a 5 star ... show more
