Gorgeous!!! I’m so sad about these skates. They are stunning and exactly what I was looking for. They are so stylish and I love the retro labels on them. I love the whole retro look. And they are so smooth you feel like you are gliding. They are kinda like riding a long board except attached to your feet. I haven’t skated since I was a kid and I’m not very good but wanted to get back into it. I initially fell in love with the Crazy Skates Evoke but they are wayyyy to expensive for a beginner like me. I’m not sure if I will even have the time to get a good use out of them. I just wanted to have fun and them being close to $300 was not a smart move for me. So when I found the retro style I fell even more madly in love and it was the price range that fit me. It all would have been perfect if they’d fit me! I’m an 8.5 and they are just slightly too small for me and crush my toes. I wish they were just a few centimeters bigger. I think if you’re an 8 in women’s you’ll be fine, but that’s the cut off. I pray they make these in bigger sizes, or significantly lower the price of the evoke. I’m so sad but I will unfortunately have to return these. I’m afraid I will damage my feet in the long run if I deal with how small they are. UPDATE: Since I’ve left the review it looks like they did create a line that would fit bigger sizes! I had already bought other skates since then but totally would have bought these if they made my size at the time.

These are nice skates. The only thing I would say would be to size up due to needing to add padding in the insole. After I added some quality insoles the skates fit well. The wheels are good quality and due to other comments I tightened my toe stop before a long ride. They ride smooth and at 48 years old I felt comfortable using them without fear of failure.

Very happy with the product. I swapped the wheels to fit my lavender daisy theme so I'm not sure how the wheels work but the body of the skates themselves are beautiful! Only issue would be the inside of the tongue of the skate was sewn in with too much excess space. So about half an inch of tongue would hang awkwardly and stab my toes. It was a super easy fix to unlace and cut off the excess. They work like a dream now. My boyfriend got the same skates and his didn't have any excess so it was probably just a manufacture error. Not faulty product design. 10/10 would recommend

This is an updated review 2022. I've had this skate for a year and it's my favorite skate. After 5 months, the tongue ripped in two but the mfg promptly replaced. This company has excellent customer service. Other than the tongue issue, I've had no other issues and I love the way it performs out the box. Only thing I did was loosen trucks and add jam plugs (I don't skate with toe stops). It's sturdy, comfortable and responsive. I love that there's no break in period and I can skate for hours before my feet get sore. The plate is heavy, but very sturdy and it will last a long time. Thank you CRAZY SKATES!

Perfect fit, very comfortable. I'm just learning to skate and these are great for me. The rubber grip that is in the middle of the tongue to stop it from slipping seems to have the opposite effect for me. If anything it slips and takes my socks down with it but otherwise a great product.

Well made skates just like the kind you would get from a roller rink. Sizing is great, smooth bearings, tight trucks. Definitely something you would hold onto for generations. My only complaint is nowhere on the product does it state where they where made. If I produced a quality product like this I would let everyone know where it was manufactured.
