I got the nlack / white houndstooth jacket, size small, 5'3; 124lbs..the jacket is outstanding! Beautifully made, high quality, excellent fit, exceeded all expectations!! They even give u 2 Xtra buttons!! Well worth the cost which was ridiculously cheap for such a high quality item .one suggestion. If you tend to carry extra weight in your upper arms and want to wear it with long sleeve shirt or thin sweater I would get a size larger otherwise very true to size! ... show more

    • Pros and Cons
I'm a curvy girl, so finding clothes on Amazon is challenging. I ordered several blazers, and always had to send them back until I found this blazer. Pros: 1. If you have a larger bustline, you usually have to order a size up just to get the proper fit across the chest. You usually end up with a boxy/bulky fit. This blazer is slightly fitted, so it's bigger through the bust and hips and just fitted enough to give it a feminine silhouette without being too small in the waist. I have a bit of a tummy and had no trouble buttoning. 2. I first ordered the curry brown which was a very nice neutral medium brown. The lining was a similar color. I was so pleased that I ordered navy blue next. This time, the lining was the leopard print. I prefer the basic color for the lining, but I guess it's a personal preference. 3. Real pockets!!! Not just pocket flaps like the other blazers I tried. 4. READ THE MEASUREMENTS. I would normally order a 3x, but the measurements said a 2x would fit best. Reluctantly, I ordered the 2x and it fit perfectly! 5. Super fast shipping. Cons: 1. Arms are long, but hey, I'm 5'2" and pretty much everything I order has to have the sleeves shortened so nothing new there. 2. My only real complaint was the fabric on the blazers is not the same. The curry brown fabric is very nice - good texture/feel and weight. The fabric on the navy blue was slightly shiny and didn't feel quite as expensive. I'm going to keep it because I really just wanted something to dress up a pair of jeans for a casual evening out or on days when I have to meet vendors at the office, so it's not a deal breaker and you can't complain about the price. ... show more

    • Loved It, But Sizing Is Way Off

I loved this blazer! It was exactly what I was looking for. According to the size chart, the XL should have fit on the large side, but I sew, so I can make alterations. The size L would have been a tad small. When I tried the blazer on, I couldn't get my biceps into the sleeves. It was very odd!! It was like a too small lining was put into the sleeve, which looked as though it would have fit, if it weren't for the lining. I don't want to waste my time reordering, in case I get the same issue with the next one. The waist was also not the size it said in the size chart. I couldn't button it. Just so disappointed!! I went back and looked at the size chart. The one listed in the description part of the page, shows the XL as being a 51.2" bust, which is too large, but it would allow some room for a top underneath, and I could take it in a bit if needed. There is a size chart in the row of pictures. It shows the XL as being a 44.9" bust. I am a 48" bust. The size XL should have fit. Please correct the size chart!! ... show more

I am very pleased with the white blazer that I ordered, but am also grateful for customer reviews. I knew to order larger than my usual size, due to reviews, and also due to the fact I wanted to wear the blazer over light sweaters. I knew it is NOT to be put in a dryer NOR ironed with a regular iron. BEWARE that this blazer fabric comes VERY wrinkled from the package and takes a lot of patience, using a steamer and pulling on the fabric, to get the embedded wrinkles out. However, once those packing wrinkles are out, the blazer stays wrinkle-free when hung or laid down. Just make sure you READ all the DIRECTIONS, so you know how to treat this fabric, and you'll be fine! Most impressed with the quality of the sewing and the FULL lining!! These qualities definitely make it worth the cost. You also get an extra "gold" button, and there is an inner clear button to secure a proper fit. I may order another blazer in black or navy! ... show more
