Bought my crazy foil after much consideration around designing my own. I attached foil to a wakeboard that did NOT have the tract system. I drilled 4 holes in the wake board to attached the mast. The 1st day I was being towed on a 40ft ski tow line and it was hard to get up and stay up on the foil. After 2 days of struggling, we shortened the rope and rode the 1st wave right behind the boat. What a difference. we could foil behind the boat mostly pumping with only using the rope for guidance. There are probably more expensive and better options, but for the money and ease of set up, this did the trick. I am 38 years old and it allowed me to get into a new hobby. ... show more

Typical foils are made of carbon fiber or aluminum, this one is made of "composite", which is plastic. Very expensive for what it is.
