This phone case has saved my phone on more than one occasion during the 18 months I've owned it! The first time was less than a week after buying my phone, when it fell out of my pocket and landed face down on an asphalt parking lot. I was hesitant to turn my phone over, expecting the screen to be destroyed like had happened to a previous phone, but it was completely fine! The case fits the phone snugly, and feels like it's sturdy and built with good materials. It feels natural, like it's part of the phone, unlike the cases I've had on some of my old phones. I like that it has a slightly tacky, grippy feeling to it, so it never feels like it's going to slip out of my hand. Unfortunately, that grippiness has worn down in a few places, leaving those spots feeling a bit slippery and plasticy, but it's not too bad. Overall, a pretty good case. I recently got my hands on the Crave Dual Guard Google Pixel 6a Case, and let me tell you, the "Shaded Spruce" color is an absolute standout! The design features a sleek geometric bumper that adds a touch of modern elegance to my phone. In terms of protection, it's been pretty reliable. My phone survived a couple of accidental drops without a scratch, thanks to its drop protection feature. It's definitely reassuring to know my device is safe from everyday mishaps. The case also feels comfortable and secure in my hand, and all the buttons, ports, and camera cutouts are perfectly placed for easy access. I appreciate the slightly raised edges around the screen and camera, offering an extra layer of safeguard when placing the phone down. So far, so good. I've been using this case for about three months and it has been great. It appears durable inside and out, the color has not faded and has not attracted dirt or grime in its ridges. As a very clumsy person, I tend to drop my phone countless times. I have cracked, busted, and just utterly destroyed almost every phone I've owned. When I bought my new phone last year, I knew I wanted something durable and affordable. I have dropped my phone a bunch of times and it is still in absolute perfect condition. I've even splashed water on it by accident and, while the case isn't waterproof, it still protected my phone and there was no damage whatsoever. I don't want to worry about my phone breaking if I drop it, and now I really don't have to.     • Great, Simple, and Durable Case!
Overall, the case has been working wonderfully for me! The colour is exactly what I hoped it to be, and the silver buttons on the side compliment the black trim really well. The textured surface is wonderful for handling but the pattern isn't so large it detracts from the look of the case. It's been incredibly durable in the months I've used it, with very few cosmetic issues here and there despite what it's gone through (I haven't been very gentle). Only noticeable damage is some minor scuffs on the corners and along the edges of the outer shell, and the one problem I do have with the case so far. The paint of the silver buttons has started to flake off, meaning it no longer has the beautiful shine it's kept so well up until now. It's absolutely the least of my worries when it comes to integrity, but I really did like the shine of the buttons against the dark colors of the rest of case, so I was sad to see the shine was slowly flaking away. The buttons can be a little loud sometimes because of the way they wiggle around, but it's such a minor thing I don't mind it, I'm just really glad they're so clicky and responsive. The size and shape of the cutout for the fingerprint scanner is also a wonderful bonus, its very nice to use and the rounded edges of everything are great. The way the bottom slopes into the sensor is also very very nice, really helps guide the finger into its spot. Been a wonderful case and I'm very glad I got it!
