Get ready to dash, jump, slide, and bounce into an all-new way to Crash. Crash Team Rumble takes Crash Bandicoot in a brand new direction, placing the series’ iconic heroes and villains into a 4v4 team-based competition. Players will duke it out across diverse and dangerous maps as both teams race to be the first team to collect and bank enough Wumpa fruit to claim victory! Rise as a hero, or feed your inner villain across a wild and N.Sane cast of characters, each with their own unique skills and abilities. Teamwork is integral to every match, as players must work together to battle the opposing team, defend their own Wumpa Bank, and capture key points around the map to boost their score. • So much fun!
Platform For Display: Playstation 5 Edition: Deluxe
This game is so much fun. I love playing as Dingodile and knocking the opposing team off their vault with the awesome tail spin. Crash's double slam is so satisfying. I'm a casual gamer and often get very frustrated with quick moving games, but Crash Team Rumble is the exception. I can manage to hold my own and still contribute to the team effort. The game is visually gorgeous and I like the different styles of the arenas. If you adore Crash Bandicoot or just like silly mayhem, this is the game for you. ... show more

  • Online Only Live Service Game. Game Overview
Platform For Display: Playstation 5 Edition: Deluxe
Online only live service game like Overwatch, Fortnite, League of Legends, etc. No story mode or single player campaign. If on consoles Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo you need Xbox Live, Playstation + or Nintendo online subscription in order to play Only 1 game mode. 4 vs 4. 8 characters to choose from (most needs to be unlocked) You do get cosmetic unlocks. DLC is in a form of paid battle passes (3 month per seasons), and dlc characters. Weekly challenges for more points Able to play with friends --Now onto that game mode: Basically an arena fighting game where you collect fruit that spawns around the map, and bring it to the goal to score points. First to reach 2000 points wins Goal is not soccer goal, rather an open circular platform you stand on. Need to stand on for several seconds to register points. During this time opponents can disrupt you from loading in your fruit If you get defeated (HP to zero) by enemy you lose all fruit you’re carrying There are power up platforms that you activate by standing on it for a few seconds to either give point boost multipliers or temporary power ups Also able to collect relics throughout the map which you must deposit in power up stations. When reach certain amount it does huge map spanning AOE attack , inflict stage hazards, turns all team allies huge with high attack ,or gives team boost depending on the map Maps on rotation so cannot choose map before battle 3 character classes: 1. Scorer Basically the main fruit collectors. Able to hold the most fruit. 2. Blockers High attack, low mobility. Hold less fruit than scorers 3. Boosters Activate power up platforms faster for point multipliers. Similar mobility to scorer, but hold less fruit Each individual character has their own attacks and stats. Able to choose 1 special move (on cooldown) Progression system is on individual level (to unlock character specific costmetics) and battle pass (which takes forever to level up to next tier) As of this review, around 2 week after launch; there’s low install base. Matches take around 1-2mins to start. When someone rage quits or disconnects during a match an AI bot takes over (instead of player backfill). AI has way lower skill than average human player (unless they’re totally new and have no idea what they are doing) Level balance is uneven. Its first come first serve when it comes to teams. Game doesn’t auto balance teams. Several times I went against a team with players level 80-100 vs everyone in my team under level 30. Some people catch on and decide to quit before match begins leading to bots on your team if the game cannot find players. After the match, the game doesn’t attempt to shuffle the teams around in the lobby rather just keep doing rematches causing more people to quit and new rejoin. Unlocked characters have better abilities like Dr neo cortex (range blaster) and dr n trophy (long reach/fast melee attack, AOE ground pound). New players without character unlocked may feel discouraged Overall, matches are fun (when you get competent people playing with no disconnects), but it looks like its going to end up like Super Mario Strikers with the low install base. Feels like it might be free-to-play in the future?? With battle pass added ? (don’t quote me on that) ... show more
