    • QUALITY CONSTRUCTION
The ONE negative comment is that the "instruction booklet" is terrible! The section about the wheel installation is horrible and misleading. FYI... the bottom drawer will need to be removed and the hardware installed inside the cabinet (not from the outside as the instructions tell you!)

    • Take a look at other 4 drawer cabs. this is good for what it is.
Holy cow I just had to write something after all the negative comments. The 1000 series is the cheapest VCraftsman series there is. I think there are atleast 4 price points. I have a second from the top which I think is the 2000 series. I feels a whole lot nicer but its still not the best. The 2000 series has self closing drawer slides and thicker steel. All this series is for is the guy who has tools in his garage and wants a step up from 5 gallon buckets. all im saying is stop bitching .and look around. I am retired now and have a ton if tools. Ive got 4 stacks and need a couple more but Im now living on a fixed income and can no longer afford much above a 5 gallon bucket with a bucket liner. This is not intended at all to be anything more than acceptable. meaning, they hold your tools and the drawers close. They arent meant to take any punishment. EVERYBODY knows these are cheap. but for all of you who want to put something in your personal garage and maybe use it a few times a year this is great. Its no way meant for daily use. so if thats you please dont be discouraged buy it. search more on amazon the next grade I think is called craftsman usa for 50 bucks more. still low grade and just as many guys bitching because they spent 200 bucks on a tool chest. Hey go out and buy square tube make a frame. go buy sheet metal and cover it plus make the drawers, buy good slides then sand it and paint it. youll first bitch because your labor should be worth more that 7 bucks an hour and thatsif youre workinmg fast. These are made by chinese slaves if they make a dollar a day theyre happy. think of that. I weld and was going to make a couple steel chests of drawers. For what I wanted to make the material was about 800 bucks. I think some people just like to bitch because if you dont have the intelligence to understand what these are, are you sure you should be using any tool. They can be dangerous. ... show more

    • Great Cabinet except for the Dent
This is a great cabinet and is exactly what was described. However, upon arrival it was noted that there was a dent on the left side of the cabinet. It is not too bad, so we've decided to keep it. It is just disappointing that it arrived damaged.
