Great Mix of Coordinating Christmas Fabrics

This worked perfectly for a Christmas craft project where I needed a good variety of coordinating fabrics without buying a bunch of individual cuts. You get 40 strips total, with two strips each of 20 different designs, and there’s a really nice assortment. What I especially like is how cohesive the collection is. The prints are different enough to give you plenty of variety, but the colors and styles all work together. The reds, greens and neutrals are more muted than bright or shiny, and the cotton has a slightly textured, almost homespun look and feel that I really like for Christmas projects. The strips are a nice, consistent weight and quality, and I didn't find any fabrics in the assortment that felt noticeably different or out of place. Everything worked well together in my project. I also think it’s a good value for the amount and variety of fabric you get. If you need an assortment of Christmas prints for quilting, sewing or smaller craft projects, this is an easy way to get a coordinated collection without having to choose 20 different fabrics yourself. I felt it was expensive, but let’s be honest, quilting can be expensive! I got it to make a quilt as a gift and quickly realized that the price really does reflect the fabric quality, which was amazing and easy to work with as a beginner quilter. I have no issues with the MANY rolls of fabric I've bought from this company. The price is very reasonable. The fabric is very nice compared to some other cheaper ones. It works well to make my "Jelly Roll" rugs. These are true 44" long strips, so they make slightly bigger rugs. Love the colors, the variety and the price. I don't know what that reviewer was thinking by suggesting anyone to preshrink the rolls. That's practically impossible to do and is never suggested by anyone who knows about cut fabric rolls. My suggestion is to use these rolls with confidence. I love them. I am working on "Timeless Blue now. Will be working on the "Autumn Bounty" roll. They are all for my kitchen and I will change them out seasonally. The yellow one is on that floor now. ... show more

I bought this to make log cabin quilts with my kids. The colors were great, and the fabric is thick enough that you can’t see through them. It made building the squares so much easier. It has held up through several washings. I think it’s a great quality for the price.

Surprisingly decent fabric!

I’ll admit, I had my doubts about this jelly roll. As someone who regularly buys $15/yd quilters quality yardage, I was hesitant to purchase this, but I really needed to add more variety of black-on-white and white-on-black designs for a hand stitched hexie quilt I’m working on, yet I didn’t want to buy larger pieces of fabric to add to my overall stash. I’m REALLY trying to use up the prodigious stash I already have! Jelly rolls in this particular colorway ain’t easy to find, so I rolled the dice and took a chance. Now, while not in line with the print quality & drape of, say, a Koffman or Free Spirit cut, these 2.5” strips are just fine for adding more dimension to my quilt, while saving me a little money and keeping to my resolution of using (mostly) what I already have. They needle well, and the unraveling isn’t terrible. The feel is okay; the weave is tight enough to hold hand stitches well, but not so stiff as to feel like you’re trying to sew through cardboard (like some cr@ppy Walmart fat quarters I picked up on a whim … ugh!). I’d buy again to add to my scrap stash. ... show more
