This is a great game for all ages! Everytime you play the color orders change, so you never know what the pattern is when you play singel player. There are also multiplayer modes for more fun. They even have a mode that allows you link up and play with others that have the same game device. Trap doesn't hurt, and it adds to the tension. The device itself feels a little flimsy, it can be very loud at night. You can turn the sound down, but it doesn't have your traditional volume nob functionality, you have to press the tap left button twice really fast to set the volum, its almost as tricky as the puzzles somtimesšŸ˜‚ I can get the volume low, but most of the time I mute it by mistake šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£. With those flaws its still a fun game with so much replayablity, that's why I give it 5 stars, easy! ... show more

This game takes the original concept and adds a hilarious (and slightly nerve wracking) twist with the ā€œmouse trapā€ clamp feature. If you get the answer wrong, the latch snaps open and gives you a jolt of surprise but thatā€™s part of the fun! The materials feel sturdy yet lightweight, so itā€™s easy to take along or play anywhere. At first the instructions were a bit tricky to follow but after a few practice rounds the gameplay made perfect sense. There are three different levels of difficulty and the progressive challenge keeps it from getting repetitive. It has that same puzzle solving satisfaction as Minesweeper or even Wordle but instead of guessing words youā€™re cracking a color code to ā€œunlockā€ a safe. The game offers several modes including a solo option (which is my favorite) and multiplayer support for up to eight players. Itā€™s surprisingly entertaining for all ages great for kids as young as six and still challenging for adults. Overall itā€™s a quality, well made game that provides great value for the price. Itā€™s smart, fun, and definitely worth adding to any game night rotation. ... show more

My husband loves this game! It took him back to his childhood of playing Mastermind, but in a fun electronic version of it. He gives it 4.5 stars because you can't turn down or turn off the volume! It came totally dead and had to be charged (it comes w/a cable) which took a while. But once it was charged he had fun playing it and I think it's good for just about any age that can solve these type of puzzles! You definitely want to read the instructions because you can have more than one player and each level has varying rules and options. You can do a timed option that adds a bit of stress to get it done fast, or you can take your time. It's a good handheld size to play. The fun part was when I just randomly put in different orders of the colors but got it wrong every round so then the little lever flips over and snaps your thumbs! It doesn't hurt though, just took me by surprise! Fun game to get your brain going and a good price. ... show more
