Tossed the comforter in the dryer first thing per instructions and fluffed it up. Laundered the sheets and pillow cases as I don't like to sleep in bedding before it has been laundered at least once. My area has been under an extreme heat advisory every day since I began using this bedding and I have kept my thermostat on the high side, so that should be considered in my opinions. The comforter fluffs well and is very light. I think, based on experience with down and high tech synthetic insulators, it will be more than warm enough for use in the average home during cold weather. The sheets feel very good on my skin and seem to breath well as I had no moisture build up even though it was very warm while I have been using them. The pillow cases were soft with no stiffness or itchy feel. I have a thick pillow top mattress which many fitted sheets are a stretch to get on but these were cut full enough to fit with ease. Overall, I like these sheets better than many sets that cost more than twice as much.

I was really surprised - pleasantly - how soft these sheets and comforter were right out of the vacuum sealed bag. I still washed them before using them, but they were really soft and a wash could have possibly been skipped even. The comforter is light but has some slight loft to it so you can still snuggle up. The sheets are really thin. Perfect for summer, but I don’t know if they’re going to keep you warm in the winter. Just be aware of that. These are affordable enough that you can use them just in spring and summer when days and nights are warmer. This set would also be good for a teenager’s room or a college student in the appropriate size because the whole set fits easily in the washing machine and you can wash it often. I like this set and I do recommend it for those situations.

I'm not sure how but the comforter included in this set is the lightest weight yet cozy and comfy and snug at the same time. The set is complete with everything you need to make up your bed into an interior lovers dream. It's simple yet stylish and the king size fit our king size bed draping perfectly at all edges. Looks like a cloud almost. It makes making up the bed easy because its so lightweight. I chose the dark grey color to go in our lime-washed charcoal master bedroom suite and have added some mustard yellow color pillows and (Shazam!) it looks so good. I'd definitely recommend this manufacturer and this set in particular. In fact, while I got this 1st set at no charge in exchange for giving a Vine review, I've already bought a 2nd set - which arrived super quickly - in the same design but twin size in white for a twin size daybed in a white and kelly green guest room we're redecorating. Super happy with this comforter set!

The price points are unmatched for this set. Definitely not high end material but it does its job. I would see this set as lightweight, more for spring and summer or your hotter year round climates. Nothing fancy, no frills. Economical. There was a strong smell when removed from packaging, once washed it went away. I did get the king size amd was able to wash in my standard machine. Great for dorms or children's room.
