I wanted a white bamboo duvet cover, as bamboo has a weight similar to silk and is supposedly breathable. This one was at a great price point, lots of colors, and good reviews. It’s actually very pretty, and the material is like silk. However, I bought a king sized duvet and it is sooo hard to wash. Not in the washer but this duvet is so apt to bunch up into a knot. Has happened several times. Tip: use permanent press setting on low heat and dry by itself. Probably does not need saying, zip the duvet before washing or drying. The duvet has ties on the inside to attach to one’s comforter. They are sturdy enough to withstand fluffing, daily sleep and flipping the comforter. The white color is not a bright white, but muted. With more of a grayish cast. Still desolately white, but if you are pairing it with bright white cotton, there will be a color variance. I’m not a hot sleeper, but gosh those microfiber comforters that are so ubiquitous make me feel like a furnace. This shields against the cold of the AC, or the winter’s chill, but is not too heavy and does not make you insanely hot like polyester.

White is definitely an off white, but i like that. Very lightweight and cool to the touch, I sleep hot and this doesn’t get me over heated like some duvet covers, But it isn’t exactly ‘cooling’ either. So soft it feels almost like satin. Love it overall.

This duvet is great. The fabric is super smooth/soft and silky without that satin look/feel. It’s a great “cooling” fabric and works well over my lightweight Gabon comforter also purchase from Amazon. Wish the white was a pure white … it was a touch on the ivory side, so I bought in the gray instead. Would totally buy the white if they made it more white (if that makes sense).

This is an absolutely wonderful duvet cover for those who sleep warm but want the weight of a duvet. It washes up nicely with the requisite wrinkling that bamboo sheets get in a dryer. Line drying would probably have better results. The biggest thing I am thrilled by is the cooling aspect of this fabric.

Feels like sleeping on a cloud, it’s absolutely amazing. Right out of the box it was packaged so nicely and extremely soft. With this duvet cover, it makes me not want to get out of bed! Only thing I wish could improve would be the inner ties on each corner, wish they were a little more sturdy or thicker. I’m nervous they may get weak and break off. I’ll worry about that when the time comes.
