I'm on a search for the perfect cologne. Unfortunately, this was not it. It did smell good but maybe more for an older gentlemen. It's spicy, musky, rugged, and a tad woodsy. It lasts for a few hours before fading. I was not able to return this cologne through Amazon so I contacted Tru Western directly and they replied within minutes! They issued me a full refund. In this new age world where we shop online for everything, I will continue my search. I will most definitely check out other scents from Tru Western in search of my perfect cologne just because they are amazing! Absolutely love the soft subtle scent - main note is definitely sandalwood (with a spring cottonwood aroma). Not really musky at all. My only gripe - is that I wish it was a bit stronger and for it to last a while longer. I’m a fit 40yr father, and I’ll continue wearing this around. You could compare this sorta to Burberry Classic (just doesn’t last as long, and not as sweet). ... show more

I purchased this for my fiance for Christmas. He used to love the original Tim McGraw cologne, which they haven’t made in years. This is VERY similar to that and it smells amazing! A large bottle for the price, and the scent lasts for a few hours. This is the same price as it is on the companies website, but I ordered on here so that I would get it sooner. Hello, I am 32 and this scent smells like what my grandpa used to wear before he passed. It was very reminiscent but I think too old school for below 40s. It isn't a bad smell but it does give me a little headache and I only used 1 spray. I gave it a second day and sprayed some today and it is the same. It is just not very current as a smell. The reviews are great and I'm sure that there are plenty out there who would love it but for me it missed the mark. Also if you look up the reviews its all truckers and that could be why it reminds me of my grandpa, he and my father are truck drivers so that could be where my impression stems from. I'll keep it and see if any of my cousins want it. Again it isn't offensive but its like the old barbershop scents it had its time and there is new stuff out there. ... show more
