The media could not be loaded. I love this lipstick. I learned about this particular shade 7-8 years ago, but unfortunately, I can’t find this lipstick anywhere. No one carries this perfect shade of pink: “Honeyed Bloom” by Covergirl, in their stores anymore. Sure, they have other shades of lipstick with this cream texture by Covergirl, but not “Honeyed Bloom.” I love this lipstick because of its texture, color, and how Matte it looks once applied. (I’ve never been a fan of shimmery or glossy-looking lipsticks). Great find! If the air outside is too hot, it will melt/deform its shape to whatever it's next. Lastly, it certainly isn't an “All-day” type of wear lipstick; you must reapply every 1-2 hours depending on how much you drink/eat, etc. Overall, favorite lipstick of all time! Do not discontinue CoverGirl!!

I grew my colored hair out the last couple of years (started during Covid). It is a pretty silver now and have decided to "own it"! The one downside is that my complexion seems "washed out". Looking for nice colors to add in both blush and lipstick. Great price on this product. The color is very pretty... not a neon pink. Just a pretty Spring color that is a pinky red.

It's not what I expected. It's very moisturizing, which is a great change, since I prefer matte lipsticks and liquid lips. It's also flattering on my skintone which is medium (I'm 290/300 in Fenty Foundation). I lip the actual point, without a liner, I have a hard time lining my lips, this one makes it really easy. The smell is also very pleasant - I just can't place what it is. However, it takes a little building up. It's not my first moisturizing lippie, I have 5 others of different brands in my collection, so I know what to expect in coverage. It took about 2-3 coats. Another thing that the picture doesn't show is that it has a pink hue to it, which I wasn't expecting with this particular shade of red. It's not something I like, but it can be manipulated to be more red. On my lippie, my red came with smudges of the stick, which could have resulted because it was a little melted at the base. I personally believe most of these smudges came from it rubbing against the case when rolled up and down. If this is the case then it's a defective case, and people should be careful because it could result in it breaking. ******* Update I had earlier rated this higher, but after a few uses I began to notice a smell (not the usual smell that tube lipsticks get when you use them down). It was weird, like it was possibly about to turn - like play-dough but not, I don't know, I can't really explain it. So I compared it to both older and new lippies that are in my collection and it smelled nothing like the new lippies (which either had no smell, a floral smell, or sweet candy smell). So I decided to cut a quarter of it off, and test it then. The tip smelled, but the remaining had kinda stronger smell. I've not tried one of these before, so I'm not sure if that's the normal smell or if they were on that verge of turning. Regardless, I decided to just toss mine. I'm sure it was probably okay, but I'm cautious with anything that sits on or near my face. Everything else I said earlier still stands. It's pretty amd comfortable. I just was uncomfortable with the scent, especially as I cut the tip off and the scent was still there.

I must admit that I have been disappointed with the last several cover girl lipsticks that I've bought, and this officially marks the end of my giving them another shot. This has so much frost it would look like a complete joke to wear in a serious manner. Why would cover girl continue to crank out such trash when their competition, who's name starts with an M, totally kills it on lipsticks, and has been doing so for like 15 years now. I have one single color by CG that I love, sensuous sienna. And I must confess to wearing their Bronzed Peach sometimes too, I have a weakness for peach lipsticks 😏
