I love Covergirl BUT... this was a mess when it came. I took the cap off and the lipstick stuck to the top so needless to say it's going to be weak now. When I got it back in the tube and tried it, it went on like cottage cheese. If I had the packaging I would return it, but I threw it all away because I use a lot of Covergirl and loved it, but can't recommend this one. WAIT...After using this for a couple weeks, yes it was a mess when it came but...I actually love the color and best of all it stays on after 2 cups of coffee! I'd buy it again. ... show more

I have worn this Covergirl lipstick for 10+ yrs. This is a great color because it gives you lip color without looking too over - done. It has a creamy texture, its not drying. I just turned 60 and I know better than to use a frosted or metallic type of lipstick, which can age you. I am caucasian with light to medium skin tone and with blonde and gray hair color. I hope this will help with deciding on a color for you. There are darker colors in this creamy formula if you need it. You do have to reapply after you eat, etc. It is not a lip stain. ... show more

The Romance Mauve is described as glossy, but it has a shimmer/frost that isn't at all what I was expecting. The color itself is nice, but I doubt I'll wear this very often.

The color is really pretty no smell. The color doesn’t last very long after 567 minutes it’s off. The color is true to color on what you see in the picture but for the price of this lipstick who can pass it up
